Speaking of defense shields, I’ve always wondered why a military powerhouse like Russia would even bother worrying about one. Personally, I feel like we have such an overwhelming edge in weaponry that we wouldn't need to fret over some flimsy shield system.

It says here those planes took off from Washington, D.C. and headed straight for Brazil. Americans must have been absolutely terrified having those Russian bombers hovering right on their doorstep. 🤣

Honestly, I wouldn't call that a direct threat—it feels more like sending a political message to the US.

Those bombers wouldn't even make it to Florida without some interceptor support, right? Plus, they probably don't even have that intention—they're likely just on a mission somewhere in South America.

Because the US sells snake oil, this "shield" isn't actually what they claim it is. It's an offensive first-strike weapon. Not directly, maybe, but indirectly... but that's beside the point.
