Truth is, all we're gonna get is a few hundred dead folks at the celebration.

Honestly, the quality of football was abysmal, and the officiating was just as bad—it’s a mystery to me how these two teams even managed to make it to the final.

I only caught the last 25 or 30 minutes, but man, I haven't seen this many mistakes in a long time. There was almost zero quality on display. You had the Iraqis from Saudi Arabia barely running—more like walking, really—just complete helplessness from both sides. The technical skill was lacking across the board; for instance, toward the end, the Iraqis had a 2-on-1 situation where one player broke free, but he ended up totally isolated with the ball, and even with those few seconds to decide his next move, he couldn't even control it properly. The whole attack just fell apart.

At this rate, I think the level of play in the USL Championship is actually higher than what we saw in this final.

Iraq really fell apart toward the end there, man, you could just feel the nerves taking over the whole pitch, and honestly, both sides were making some pretty sloppy mistakes, though I gotta say, the technical skill was definitely there, brother, we saw plenty of slick dribbling, quick one-twos, and some seriously clean touches out there...

Is this what a final looks like in the USL Championship? It’s kind of wild when you think about it, seeing an absolute powerhouse from MLS barely scraping by against some random underdog teams while everyone else is getting rolled by whoever happens to be playing...😕
