Has anyone here actually been to that clinic? I'm wondering if they specialize strictly in sports injuries and fractures, or if they handle spinal issues as well.
Given the price tag, what does the initial consultation actually entail?😲
Also, how does their treatment approach differ from your standard physical therapy?

I actually had an experience there myself!
I ended up flying down a flight of stairs because someone spilled some nasty, slimy mess that was practically invisible on the floor.
It really did a number on my shoulder and upper arm.
The initial exam was super thorough and included an ultrasound; I actually had to get some imaging done, so I headed over to the hospital for that part.
Nothing was broken, just a bad strain and a deep bruise about the size of a large egg. It kept me from driving for almost two months!
I went through several different types of therapy, and honestly, some of them were a lifesaver. 🙂

I even sent a colleague there after she wrecked her knee skiing—it pretty much saved her from needing surgery!

I know a few other people who have gone there too, and they were all incredibly happy with the results.
One woman I know has some major issues with her spine; she’s mentioned it to me before, though I can't quite remember the specifics of what they treated for her, so I can't give you more details.

Thanks 😘
Could you please go into more detail regarding the therapies you’ve undergone and what they cost? Send me a DM

Do they have a website or something? I’ve been struggling for months with this semi-disabled, painful hand that the doctors at the hospital just can't seem to fix. I think I’m going to try a private specialist because this is getting nowhere...

No need to message me privately—my situation was actually about four or five years ago, and honestly, I can't quite remember the exact prices anymore.
The treatments involved things like ultrasound, massage, electrical stimulation, and a few other things.
Since my issue didn't require ongoing care, I haven't been back there since.
I know some people who go regularly, though I haven't really asked them for the specifics.

Everyone there was just so lovely and kind; they were truly wonderful to work with!
I was incredibly happy with my experience. 🙂
But for all the nitty-gritty details, you'll probably have to wait for someone else to reach out to you.

I don't think so!
They're actually located over at the local YMCA.

Hey there!
I actually went to Ligament myself! I just finished up my sessions last week. Honestly, the staff there are incredibly kind.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Regarding the cost, yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it is absolutely worth it! The exam is $167 because they do an ultrasound and walk you through everything—explaining exactly what shifted or needs "fixing," plus what exercises you should be doing...
A set of three treatments runs about $350 up to $100, depending on how many you need. Each session lasts an hour and includes massage, laser, electrical stimulation, and magnetic therapy. Sometimes, after the back massage, they even let you use a heating pad to relax. After that, you see a great specialist who handles bone or spinal adjustments. Once the therapy is done, they also provide guided exercises for $33.
You really can't go wrong if you decide to go there.👍

Thanks 😘 , I’m actually heading in to see them next week, so I’ll find out what they have to say then 🙄

Do they usually decide on the total number of therapy days during that first consultation, or do they just monitor you for a bit before determining the exact duration?

They let you know right from the jump exactly how many sessions you’ll need. You get check-ins about every fifth visit to track your progress, and based on those results, they decide whether to adjust your therapy or switch up your exercises!

Everything is going wonderfully at Ligament. My son was actually just saved from some really intense spinal and foot pain for the second time thanks to them; they’ve been providing him with incredible therapy sessions and manual adjustments. Dr. Puljiz even recommended we get a few specific tests done that they don't typically perform in-house, and once he realized my son might need medication alongside the physical therapy, he personally referred us to a specialist.
They really deserve all the praise! I guess they can be a bit pricey, but they truly know how to help.

That was my experience too!

Now, I feel like their pricing is pretty much the same as any other clinic in New York
except that the quality of care you get is worth way more than the price tag
plus, they provide honest receipts—something some private practitioners try to dodge—so you can just file them for your tax returns and end up paying less in the long run!

I was seeing them for five months! At first, I went every single day, then three times a week, then twice, and finally once a week. When I finished my last session, I asked them for an R1, and they didn't hesitate to write it out for me!
It’s honestly wonderful how they treat you like a close friend—like you’ve just dropped by for a chat rather than being treated like just another client. Hats off to them! 🙏

Then you just head over to some buddy who'll pop your bones back into place or fix that spine of yours.

A chiropractor??

Yes, they always do a little realignment at the end after the massage and all the other therapies.

Starting a new thread here.
Quick question—should I bother bringing my own photos or X-rays, or do they just handle all that on-site?
How do they even nail down a diagnosis anyway? Is it just scans? MRI?

I want to hear everything about this girl—whether she’s had great luck or total nightmares with doctors over there... please just keep all that chatter on the "Looking for a doctor..." megathread instead.
