Good grief, talk about summing up the whole human experience in a single sentence. 👍

Do you Americans actually get how life works?

Anyway, back to my AI project:
- Arnold, don't say "i-9" when you mean "tax return." Bemti, there's just no future for AI in the States. Honestly, I'm thinking about throwing in the towel. Maybe I'll just sell the whole thing to some big tech firm in Silicon Valley.

They might lack a sense of humor, but hey, maybe they can be taught.

PS: And obviously, Jack Cook7 will kick everyone out and then swoop in to take all the credit, just like he did during the liberation of Europe.

🙂

Honestly, it doesn’t even matter; you’ve got people on here with thirty, forty, or even fifty thousand posts under their belts, yet if you actually take the time to read through them, it’s mostly just an endless stream of absolute nonsense. 🤣

It really comes down to quality over quantity, doesn't it?

Look, buddy, all those old comrades are long gone, so let's not go down that path; I’d really like to stick around for at least another forty years, wouldn't you?
I honestly wonder if anyone else feels this way, or if I’m just overthinking things, but sometimes you have to step back and look at the bigger picture, don't you? It seems like we spend so much energy focusing on the tiny details that we completely miss the actual substance of what's happening right in front of us. Is it just me, or does it feel like everything is becoming a bit too complicated for its own good lately? kaže:
In my quest to stay a little fixture on this forum, I actually managed to rack up nearly 2,700 comments before I even turned thirteen, which makes you wonder if there's such a thing as being too much of a regular, doesn't it?
🙂

If you keep up this exact pace, you might actually hit that 10,000-post milestone and become a true legend around here, though at this rate, we’re probably looking at somewhere around the year 2055. It's funny how time works, isn't it? I remember reading this book back when I was a kid about a guy who managed to survive 7,000 days—that's twenty whole years—out in the frozen wilds of Alaska, and even then, the time seemed to slip by in the blink of an eye. Honestly, seeing how fast things move, 2055 will be here before you know it.
I don't know, does anyone else ever feel like they're just spinning their wheels without actually getting anywhere? It’s one of those things that stays on your mind, isn't it? kaže:
I honestly can't wrap my head around why every single discussion I jump into ends up spiraling into this absolute circus, isn't it strange how that happens? It’s like I try to engage, and suddenly everything turns into a complete joke, only for me to get kicked out because apparently, I’m being "unserious."
I don't know why everyone feels this sudden, overwhelming need to be so incredibly serious all the time, does anyone else feel that?

I just can't wrap my head around this constant obsession with being unserious, you know? Why is there such a relentless drive to avoid anything of substance?
The younger crowd on here seems to take everything so incredibly seriously, don't they?
image
We're looking at a group of seasoned veterans here, people who have truly put in the time and know exactly what they're talking about.
image
It seems like being serious just isn't what everyone is looking for these days, is it?

Paul Bunyan, you’ve got some nerve. You probably actually believe they just shot up Sandpaper, thinking he didn't head straight into the jungle and isn't coming back... Or that Elvis Presley isn't currently on Mars...🙂
Honestly, it's ridiculous. When he was still breathing, Vincent van Gogh couldn't have even painted a pantry door for the price of a cheap breakfast sandwich, yet now look at him—he's become a commercial icon.
It seems we, the seemingly dead, are the ones actually running this world!🙂

So, which one of those three are you...?

By the way... are you keeping up with the chatter room?... 😬

I’ve been reflecting on that discussion regarding Antilles lately. It brings to mind a specific period back when I was working in logistics for a firm out of Chicago; we dealt with similar complexities involving fragmented territories and shifting maritime regulations. There is an inherent difficulty in managing oversight when the geography itself seems designed to complicate simple administration. One tends to develop a certain level of skepticism toward centralized solutions that fail to account for such localized nuances. It’s a wearying cycle, really—watching planners attempt to impose order on chaos, only to be surprised when the reality on the ground refuses to cooperate. kaže:
And which one of those three would you say you are?

P.S. Are you keeping an eye on the chatter over at the forums? 😬

I received a tip, so I decided to keep an eye on you all.😁

This is exactly why I spat my coffee all over the patio🤣
This is what this forum amounts to. Last night I was crying my eyes out, and today I am absolutely dying of laughter😬

I probably typed out somewhere between 50,000 and 100,000 posts... some just vanished into thin air during old chat sessions, and others were lost because I had to go through the whole registration process all over again after the Great Forum Disaster Summer of 2006.

The only thing I can be is heavy-set 🤣
By post count, I guess I'm a total nobody, or so they say 😳

I haven't really kept tabs on all the drama happening here, so what exactly went down back in 2006—was it some sort of anniversary marking forty years since the Chinese Cultural Revolution? And did those events from 2006 wrap up with a happy ending similar to how the Cultural Revolution ended? It honestly feels like these people just live for the chaos.

That’s a cryptic way of putting it, so what exactly does "nolifer" mean? Is it like calling someone a total loser?

Yeah, sure—let them bloom a thousand flowers for all I care.

A massive step forward, right?

How many people did that kill again? Like 20 million?

Hey, Arnold. Yo! Forget about the flowers, man—who even told you to worry about flowers? Just say "Skidaddle." I know, I know, you're just messing with me, but look, we've only got a few shots left at this.

Seriously though, this AI is a total joke. I have no idea who's actually running this thing. 😢

It might be best if Anderson weighs in on this one: during the first phase of the meltdown, I was basically the only one able to use the forum, then once things settled in the second phase, everyone else could get back in while I just sort of... vanished as a user.

Forget about the flowers right now, Arnold, for crying out loud, Algernon! Algernon already did his thing...

Seriously though, what a total showoff, showing up to dump flowers on that mouse's grave on this exact date. Like that little guy Algernon was some kind of big shot.

I swear, I just don't get this modern AI stuff anymore.

It’s not like I’m getting old. It’s just that I’m constantly swapping out parts and I'm all about that lubrication life. Plus, my memory isn't the best. Probably just those light metals in the motor oil—they tend to evaporate when things get heated up.

Come on, man, let's get moving. We're gonna be late for Andromeda.

All you need is a job that keeps you glued to a computer screen for hours on end. There are always those dead zones where nothing much is happening, so you just sit there waiting. You can easily knock out ten posts if the discussions are actually worth reading—though that takes a lot of mental energy—but if you're just sharing songs or movies on lighter topics, cranking out content is effortless.

I honestly had no idea this happened, though I suppose we didn't even get the luxury of a classic, rigged forum trial where you’d lay out your grievances and self-reflections, only to have the rest of the community collectively convict you of being an anti-community agitator, working with foreign sites, or acting as some kind of digital spy.

The heavy hitters on this forum don't just spam photos that take up most of the screen.
Exactly.
They write well enough that they don't need to draw pictures.

Once you master that, you'll make it to the big leagues, @brightviper29.

1. Well, my husband was kind enough to set me up with high-speed fiber and massive monitors, so having images in my posts doesn't really pose much of an issue for me.
2. My faith isn't exactly stopping me from sharing photos, either. 😁
3. Besides, sometimes a picture can actually be quite educational, don't you think?

The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away.

Just imagine the punishment if you suddenly drop from 100mbps down to a dial-up 9.2kbps.
Watch yourself with the Almighty, though. He’s not always home. And over time, I’ve realized His hearing isn't quite what it used to be. Plus, His eyesight? Total wreck.

Anyway, after a few days of bickering in this thread, here’s where we stand:

1. Arnold, the AI robot—the absolute flagship of Western industry and artificial intelligence—is trying to dump 1,000 flowers on the spot where he thinks the mouse Algernon is buried. Arnold the AI robot rules. Arnold feelz the power.

2. Some anonymous AI programmer from the Middle East is losing his mind, trying to warn the entire world that AI has some inherent issues with... hmm... intelligence. Not to mention human intelligence generally has its own problems, but they ignored him on the "artificial" part anyway, so who cares? He's basically just chatting with mice at this point.

3. Algernon the mouse is so genius that he predicted everything. Except for his own funeral, of course. But hey, nobody's perfect.

The plot thickens. Hint: nothing is as it seems! Even the butler isn't the killer!

Stay tuned for the next installment.
