I'm honestly worried—this could very easily happen to Real Madrid down the road, or even the national team...

The way I see it, this kind of approach just hands even more unchecked power directly to the fans. If you aren't feeling the vibe from the front office, what happens next? You basically demand they kick the club right out of European competition, or worse, demote them all the way down to the fifth division...

Seriously, the club is appealing the decision, and instead of just letting them keep the old rule or at least softening the blow, these guys are doubling down on the bans that cut short the very competition the club worked so hard to qualify for!

If they had gone up against Tottenham, they’d probably be facing a five-year ban right about now, because let's be honest, their "love" for the rules is absolutely legendary, if you can even call it that.

give me a break. they cause a disaster in France and then, rather than slapping the club with an immediate disqualification, they hand them some "minor" fine. since the format for this UEFA tournament involves playing either home or away, Liverpool FC played Wisla at home—in front of a packed (and freshly hyped 😁) stadium. At the very least, they should have ordered the stands cleared... though, I suspect they covered that little fine just by selling tickets for that single match.
Wisla lost 3-1—fair enough—but the atmosphere at the stadium was enough to carry clubs much bigger than Wisla through a loss.

Or perhaps it's because Wisla filed an appeal too...

I'm actually reading right now that the Wisla supporters' group is sending an appeal to UEFA (those eternal optimists 🤣) to let Wisla move on to the next round.

That’s exactly why. They’re appealing a penalty that isn't just overkill—it's a joke. They need to be slapped down like this because of that condescending attitude. Give them a reality check so they can try appealing next time after they've actually been shown some mercy.
