And just one more thing, if none of those tips actually work out, can I just take them to a local cobbler and have some custom slippers made? Because honestly, I just HAVE to wear them, no matter what they look like or how they turn out 😍

The shoes are pretty much like this, just flat and white, and they don't have that specific logo—instead, one has a letter C and the other has a D 😍 image

Do you think a cobbler could actually pull this off and make it look like this:

The whole thing is because they were literally the last ones left in stock, and oh my gosh, I was just so obsessed with them! Plus, considering how nice the quality feels, the price was such a steal, I couldn't pass them up 😬

I’ve heard all sorts of weird DIY hacks floating around online, like soaking them in milk, stuffing them with newspaper and tossing them in the freezer, or maybe some crazy combo of both, you know how it goes 😁

Does anyone out there have any actual advice on how to STRETCH shoes? Because honestly, I think the length might actually be fine if I can just somehow manage to cram my foot into them in the first place 😳 Just to give you some context, they’re basically like ballet flats—totally flat soles—but instead of having that rounded toe, they have a pointed toe 😳

I'm sorry, but I don't think your username really fits you at all.image

Given the quality, the price was actually a steal.😬

I really wonder how much?

See, here in the States, big global luxury brands don't really have their own dedicated boutiques everywhere (except for maybe Escada and a few others), so most of us end up hunting for designer stuff in these boutique showrooms or high-end consignment shops scattered around cities like Chicago or NYC where they sell pre-loved goods. Just to give you an idea, a pair of Dior sandals at one of those spots might run you anywhere from $100 to maybe $300 max. A few months back, I saw a pair for $200, but they only had a size 6 left, so those flew off the shelves instantly. As for the ones I'm looking at, the price just kept dropping and dropping until they hit a crazy low of only $40! 😬 Honestly, if I can't find a way to make them fit better, I'll probably just gift them to a friend anyway. 😘

Just carry them in your hand 😁

Back to the topic at hand: you aren't going to manage to expand them; you’re just going to end up ruining them. Honestly, it would be much more sensible to just donate them right now to someone who will actually get some use out of them.

I mean, why not just order everything online? You get way more cool stuff to choose from, and the delivery is seamless. Honestly, I’ve been shopping almost exclusively online for nearly two years now because I can't stand the lack of variety in stores. I’ll walk into a Foot Locker and see five girls wearing the exact same sandals, or ten people in the identical tops. It’s just not it.👎...

I used to be just like you—though I’ve matured a bit since then😁 👍. It’s not really about size; it’s just about when something catches your eye🙄. Then I just pass it along to friends.

You could actually take shoes to a cobbler and ask them to stretch them out to last longer; that might actually work.
For instance, I once grabbed a pair of boots in a size 6 when I usually wear an 8. I managed to stretch them out, and they were comfy enough to wear all winter.

Give it a shot. It won't cost you anything.

Take two pairs of socks, soak them thoroughly in some high-proof vodka, shove your feet into your shoes, and just start walking. Do that a few times and you'll see the leather start to stretch out and give. Just keep in mind, this trick only works if you're dealing with genuine leather.

It’s just not it 👎 ...

That’s exactly why I hunt for stuff in boutique showrooms, since there’s usually only one or two examples of anything (mostly because it's all high-end consignment stuff). Usually, these little gems are picked up by girls all over the US, so in my own city, I can actually walk around feeling like I'm wearing something unique and original 😁 So far, I haven't really run into an issue where I buy something that's a size too small 😁 but hey, there's a first time for everything, right? 🙄

I’ll definitely take your advice, though if all else fails... Mom is going to be absolutely thrilled to stroll around in her Dior shoes 👍

So, I went ahead and grabbed these shoes in a size 7, even though I’m usually a solid 8 and sometimes even an 8.5 😁 😁
The whole thing is because they were literally the last pair left in stock, and oh my god, I just fell in love with them! Plus, considering how nice they feel, the price was such a steal, I couldn't say no

Just for context, they’re basically like ballet flats, so they're totally flat, but instead of being rounded like a classic ballerina style, they have this cute pointed toe

Do you think a cobbler could take some of this material and whip up something like this:

Honestly, I have no idea what on earth could possess someone to buy two sizes too small just because they look stunning. 😕

I mean, props to you if they’re a steal or have an amazing design, but I only buy shoes I actually plan on wearing. If I'm going to wear them, they have to fit properly.

Just because I fall in love with a pair doesn't mean I should buy them if my size isn't available. That's just not how it works for me. 👎

Look, if you can't even get your foot inside them, I honestly have no clue what kind of Hollywood movie magic you'd need to stretch those things out 😕 😕
I mean, there's a difference between them being tight when you put them on and actually being unable to physically force your foot in... 🤔

Oh my God, I could be three times as stunning if those two sizes were actually too small for me... I wear a size 6, so just give me those two sizes and they'll fit you perfectly!

I honestly think a cobbler could work some magic on those boots for you, maybe even turn them into something more like a Chelsea boot style, but the real question is how much of that heel is going to be sticking out once they're done? Or, if you're feeling lucky, maybe they could just stretch them out without having to hack the back off—I know they have those specialized stretching machines at the shops, though I guess it all really depends on what kind of material the shoes are actually made of...
