Honestly, they don't even need moderators over there. And yet, they have them.

I actually wanted to go for a moderator spot myself... but they told me someone had complained about me and that I'm still too much of a newbie here...
To be fair, I agree that I'm pretty new, so I kind of gave up on the whole moderator thing anyway... besides, I heard it’s a massive headache... so I just told myself to let it go and stay out of the drama...
But you obviously aren't "new" around here... so, best of luck to you...

Being a moderator isn't exactly a walk in the park. To be honest, there’s really nothing being posted here at all; this entire space is just a product of your imagination.
It's probably just your mind playing tricks on you, making you think there's actually content to read. Everything you see on this page is nothing more than a signature.

Take a good, long look at it.

I can't say I agree with your signature. If you've got grievances, there's an entire dedicated sub-forum just for that.

That isn't really the core of the issue. It might be part of the problem, sure, but let's not lose sight of the bigger picture.
What are you supposed to do when someone gets banned just for quoting a post, while the person being quoted stays perfectly fine?
It’s an interesting situation, to say the least.
Just to be clear, I’m still pretty new here, and I don't have any complaints regarding how the moderators or admins handle things so far.

Actually, what you just mentioned is part of the core issue here.
On any standard online forum, you'll find a specific section meant for feedback and grievances. You start a thread there, only to have them shut it down immediately???

How do you view that kind of dynamic? What is the actual purpose of having a sub-forum if it's handled this way? (I'm referring specifically to the sub-forum on the subtitle site.)

Good grief, you've only got 13 posts and you're already making noise in the PZK? What, did you join this forum thinking you were some kind of vigilante? If you've got an issue with how the admin or the moderators handle thread titles, just file a complaint.

Most complaints just get shut down immediately because the thread title is basically: "Moderator XYZ sucks" or "Admin ABC doesn't know how to moderate."
Complaints where people actually lay out the facts on level ground and use a civil tone are incredibly rare. And even rarer still is someone actually admitting they were in the wrong.
Maybe try sending a PM to an admin or a mod every once in a while? Honestly, that can be way more effective.

I really just want to offer some friendly advice to everyone—and specifically to Perica in this case—to not push too hard for a moderator role. I’ve held an admin position myself somewhere, so believe me when I say I know exactly what that entails. It rarely leads to anything good.

My uncle used to be a forester, working right out there in the field alongside all sorts of different folks. He was constantly interacting with people.
He always used to say:
"The hardest job you'll ever have is working with people."

If you can walk away now while you still have the chance, Perica, you really should.

The thread title over on Titl was just the username of the guy who got banned.
Well, they went ahead and handed out the ban. So, I've set up a second account to see if we can actually figure out what happened here.....
I ended up copying everything I had previously intended to say, but honestly, since it's been proven that they were completely in the wrong, it seems that just triggered yet another ban.
I don't have any intention of heading back there.
Between ES and this forum, I think I'm covered.
Oh, and let's not forget Balcansat.
I'm leaving this post here simply so those involved might be able to see where the issue lies.
(And by that, I mean the moderators and admins over at Titl)
