Who's better: Karl Malden vs. Richard Herd?

It honestly blows my mind every single time how some people can look so much alike even when they aren't even related. I mean, sure, it’s totally normal that Donald Trump and Kiefer Sutherland, or Michael Jordan and Kirk Douglas, share some features, but then you have plenty of other actors—famous or not—who are practically carbon copies of one another.

One pair that I’ve always been a big fan of is Richard Herd (who played Admiral Owen Wilson on Voyager) and Karl Malden.

He’s that guy from Seinfeld who worked at Jenkins alongside George; I’ve spent forever trying to convince my dear friend that it was actually Karl Malden, but he just keeps insisting, "Noooooooo way."

Anyway, I guess I won't admit he was right just yet. 😛

...but hey, let me throw a little something interesting into the conversation: there’s really no real resemblance between Christopher Meloni and Elias Koteas... except, obviously, that Koteas is way darker and a much better actor ☕

...but honestly, this is an old debate that started way back with American fans of Oz and Law & Order... though, really, they aren't even that similar... as I've said before, Elias Koteas is Black with dark eyes (of Greek descent), whereas Meloni has light eyes...

...Anyway, just to add more fuel to this fire—much to my own embarrassment—I used to have a hard time telling the difference between Ray Liotta and Greg Kinnear. 😳Not that there's any question about who's the better actor or director between them, obviously, but still... I'm cringing at myself...

Actually, they aren't. Christopher Meloni is in both Law & Order and Oz.

...honestly, I actually kind of like him—with that whole god-awful-expression he pulls—and I truly believe he’s a solid, top-tier actor. The real issue is his judgment; the guy just can't pick a decent project to save his life. His career is basically a graveyard of flops, and if we're being honest, that's largely his own fault...😁 So, while I wouldn't go so far as to call him the most underrated actor working today (I mean, have you seen Ewen Bremner?!? 😍 who do you think I am? 😁 ), I definitely agree that he needs a few heavy-hitting films under his belt 😁
But look, I'll admit it once more: Greg Kinnear in Little Miss Sunshine was 🙏 🙏 🙏
...And even though Ray Liotta could have used a little more push there (seriously, why did he end up on CSI?), I still think he's the superior actor...
