Honestly, these new versions of Housewife just don't hit the spot for me. Even the original doesn't taste quite like it used to. I can't tell if it's just my own nostalgia playing tricks on me or if they actually tweaked the recipe somewhere along the line, though it could easily be both.

They definitely changed the recipe because it's not the same for me either... I haven't bought them in ages because the last time I tried, the flavor was a total letdown.

I used to dunk my Petit Biscuits and Plazma biscuits in milk just like a little kid.

With the Petit ones, you’d make this specific cake where you layered biscuits on the bottom, followed by an egg yolk cream, then more biscuits topped with an egg white cream, and finished off with a chocolate glaze.

Then there was the other one, where you’d stack Plazma biscuits in steps, alternating them with some kind of banana cream.

Frondi used to be the bomb! Can't remember if it was Hershey's or someone else making them. They were short, like three of them fit into one Baton.
Then today I spotted Batons in a retro box. Not sure if it was some retro week at Lidl or if they brought back the old packaging. Maybe they actually improved them since everyone absolutely trashed them at Blue Stone.

Plazma usually runs about $2.85 for a 10oz pack, while you'll find Plasmon at Muller for around $6.30 for an 11oz bag.
The flavor and texture are basically twins, which is just a polite way of saying they both suck. If you did a blind taste test, you’d probably struggle to tell them apart, though if I had to nitpick, Plasmon has a slightly punchier profile—but even then, that doesn't justify a massive markup, let alone doubling the price.
Honestly, both are underwhelming and wildly overpriced; if I’m looking for a decent biscuit in the snack aisle, I’d much rather grab some Leibniz, and frankly, I’ve had my fill of any Plazma varieties for one lifetime too many.

Plazma Biscuit 300g at Walmart goes for like €1.72 / $4.25,
