Kezele seems to be holding a bit of a grudge against us, though we were only there for about a week; I suspect everyone tends to put in more preparation over the weekend anyway.
Has anyone had a chance to post this link yet? It’s always such a pleasant atmosphere for us there, and honestly, it's just a lovely spot for a stroll.

Kezele seemed a bit miffed with us, though I suppose it’s understandable since everyone puts so much more effort into prepping food over the weekend, whereas during the week, everyone just tends to grab something on the fly...
Has anyone shared this link yet? We always find it incredibly pleasant to stay there—the food is wonderful—and it's a lovely spot for a stroll.

Starting a new thread
I was wondering if anyone here has actually spent some time HERE? Any experiences, maybe some recommendations or anything?

Hi there. I need some help... I have to write a business plan, or at least flesh out a business idea. I was thinking about focusing on agritourism, though I don't really have any experience in the field. Could anyone help? I'd be very grateful if someone who actually works in this industry or has written something like this could weigh in.

I’ve spent basically half my damn day spiraling down Google rabbit holes trying to track down some legit agritourism spot out in the sticks.
Specifically, I’ve got a ten-year-old kid who’s obsessed with animals and is dying to spend a week living on an actual farm—you know, just to see what life is really like.
I’m talking about a real setup, maybe cows, sheep, horses, somewhere he can actually hang out and get his hands dirty helping with the work.
Everything I’ve stumbled upon so far is just these tiny little hobby farms that have one or two "display" animals, which is honestly pretty underwhelming if you're looking for anything substantial.
Does anyone have any actual leads?
We’re based in Washington, D.C., but we wouldn't mind hitting the road for a good 100 124 miles...
Thanks guys

I’ve visited a few different agritourism farms out in the Midwest and Iowa.

Mat's Eco-Ethno Farm in Oprisavci. If you happen to be a fan of horses, I guess this is the spot to visit, as they are definitely the main attraction here. They even have a few ponies. While touring the farm, visitors can also get to know various local animals that are typical for this region.

Captain's House in Šarengrad. They offer rentals for fishing gear, bicycles, or boats—specifically those famous Danube cycles. This rural tourist household seems quite suitable for children too, since they can feed the farm animals or go horseback riding.

The Eco-Ethno Farm in Korođ. There is an interesting house on the property built from mud and finished in a traditional, old-fashioned style. Along with a collection of vintage items like furniture, tools, paintings, a piano, and old radios, the atmosphere is rounded out by two century-old mulberry trees, a stable, a bread oven, a smokehouse, and a hayloft in the yard, plus all sorts of farm animals...

There is always something interesting to find. 🙂

The thermal baths in Zreče are nearby, along with a cute little zoo in Slovenska Konjica. You can feed the animals there too, and they're right by the stay. Everything was spotless... no smells at all.

Hosts were incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. Food, location, cleanliness... looking at the reviews on booking.com, everything hits a 9.5. Personally, I’d give them a 10. 🙂

Thanks, this looks absolutely killer 👍

Canada isn't really on the table for us right now since my kid doesn't even have a passport yet... but thanks anyway, I'll definitely check out Urška's place...
