Referral programs: Any good ones out there?

What on earth is that supposed to be?

If you look at the profile, there’s this 'referrals' section displaying a specific number.

What is the actual purpose of that, and what is it even meant to signify?

Here we go again—do me a favor and actually dig through some of the older threads. It’s got everything to do with the kind of people you keep 'bringing' onto this forum.

I was hoping to dig up an older thread, but the search function keeps coming up with 'no matches.'

And frankly, I have zero intention of clicking through every single topic one by one just to stumble upon what I'm looking for.
