I really hope casualpuma71 isn't playing those backroom games with "you-know-who." If he is, I'm done. It’s like people think we're electing the President of the United States instead of just a regular moderator.

Backroom politics... 🙄

Given this whole voting farce and the sheer number of people fed up with the entire situation, the decision regarding the new moderator—or moderators—will likely be reached through other channels. It’s pretty clear that democracy isn't exactly welcome here, just like frozentiger6 pointed out earlier.

The vote was launched with good intentions, meant to let the forum members choose a new moderator fairly. If everything had played out normally, nobody would even be talking about this. Instead, things spiraled in the wrong direction, and now we're just trying to salvage what we can and fix the mess in the way we think is best, considering how this whole thing has unfolded.

Thanks for the "kind" wishes🙄

Nothing is set in stone yet (though it could've been if I hadn't been an idiot and tried to play fair), but once they saw how much these elections looked like the last ones, things shifted. We're still hashing out the details behind closed doors—it's not public knowledge yet...

I'll let you know when there's actually news.
Later.👋

Come on people, cast your votes for Serse-Cosmi 14 3. Roby 0; otherwise, the nerds are going to run this whole show...

Heh, wow, you guys are really lighting up like a stick of dynamite. I was just venting because mr. ex keeps rambling on about these supposed secret deals and backroom negotiations, acting like we’re sitting in a high-stakes summit in Dayton instead of just hanging out on a random forum. 😁

Anyway, we made up and apologized for all the crap we said to each other that night.
And I'm looking forward to catching up in Split👍

How am I supposed to stay chill when you're basically telling me to eat dirt?🙄
I'm not even talking about some shady deals or negotiations here; I’m talking about what I actually need to do to "defend myself from being attacked from every single angle."

Look, my bad. I wasn't aiming that at you specifically—I was talking about this whole damn soccer subforum. Honestly, it feels like they just pick anyone to be a moderator without actually vetting them.

It’s like they started charging an entry fee or something, and now everyone’s rushing in to claim a spot.

Wait, so it's free?😕

$50 For every single idiot
$33 For every single thread opened
