Honestly, those anti-cellulite massages are hands down the best way to go—forget all those fancy creams and stuff... I'm actually on my 11th session right now. For the first ten, I was going every other day, but now I've switched to just once a week, and I guess you don't see a massive difference in how it looks, but you can definitely feel it when you touch it...

Are high-end spa treatments actually worth the investment? If they are, which ones shouldn't be skipped?
Is there a more budget-friendly way to achieve similar results at home?
In any case, I'd appreciate any insight you can offer—please feel free to share your own experiences.

There’s really no need to repeat yourself here... just head over there... you'll find plenty of experiences from other women on the forum regarding anti-cellulite products.

It honestly bothers me how much cellulite is talked about as if it were some kind of shameful skin disease.
Everyone seems so obsessed with it, acting like it’s this massive, life-altering issue.
I have a few friends who are really self-conscious about it, going on these extreme diets or other nonsense just because of it (though that's their own struggle). Personally, I have cellulite too, and it doesn't make me unhappy at all. I can spend entire days laughing and enjoying myself without being into intense sports or anything. The truth is, the media loves to pick on a celebrity and blow things way out of proportion, but I guess we tend to do that to ourselves, too. I actually overheard a group of girls commenting on some cute girl's cellulite the other day. And then what? More than half of us have it, so what's the big deal? Some guys have even mentioned they actually like seeing a little bit of texture on a woman—they prefer it when everything isn't perfectly tight. They say it's actually quite cute. None of us are perfect, and we never will be. So why wage this war against ourselves, setting impossible standards where our breasts have to fit a specific cup size, our teeth have to be snow-white, and our stomachs have to be perfectly flat? It's those little imperfections that actually make us unique.

Now that I've finished my rant 😬, I'm curious to hear what you all think about any of this!

Honestly, I never thought I’d be the one starting a thread like this.
I'm 25, weigh about 110 pounds, and even though I'm thin, I have cellulite. It’s definitely not in my genetics—I didn't have any of this until I started taking Yasmin.
But now, it's showing up on my butt and legs. I wasn't really sweating the small stuff until my boyfriend mentioned it out of nowhere the other day (he claimed he was just joking afterward, though). It's especially noticeable on the outer part of my thighs, and it's really getting to me.
GIRLS, ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH THIS NONSENSE, how do I get rid of it? Will it go away if I stop taking Yasmin?
Would swimming during the summer help? (I'm not really an athlete or anything)
Are there any effective creams you've actually used? Pills? Anything at all?
Just to be clear, I don't want to lose weight...
But seeing this is just awful and it's driving me crazy...
Help!!!!

I’m dealing with the exact same thing. You see these massive threads on beauty forums all about getting rid of cellulite, but honestly? As long as you're still taking those pills, you might as well stop worrying about the skin texture.

Sure, eating right, staying hydrated, and hitting the gym are non-negotiables, but your body is just retaining water. If you're still on Y, that cellulite isn't going anywhere. It's a harsh reality.😬

At least that's my take, since I'm stuck in this exact same loop myself.🤷

Two of my friends finally quit their Logest, and while they saw a decent improvement in their cellulite, it didn't vanish completely.

Cellulite doesn't care if you're thin or curvy—it's something at least half the female population seems to misunderstand. It’s often triggered by things like certain birth control pills that really mess with your system—they help one way, but they take a toll elsewhere. Or it just comes from sitting all day at an office job and not staying active. The good news is you can actually get rid of cellulite; it's much easier than dealing with stretch marks, which stay with you. Good luck on the other thread about supplements!😉

Is that really how all hormonal birth control works?😲
It’s honestly wild to me that girls still take those pills. They do way more damage to your system, and there are plenty of other ways to handle contraception anyway.🤷

It doesn't work that way for everyone. Plenty of women don't deal with any side effects at all.

I weighed all the pros and cons and decided to stick with the pills for a bit longer, despite the cellulite issues. The benefits I've seen since starting them just outweighed the downsides...

Same thing here. My mother doesn't have an ounce of it, yet I'm absolutely overflowing with it.
I'm 26 years old, standing 5'10" and weighing 137 lbs.
I've had this issue for as long as I can remember, but things really went downhill once I started working at Logest.

I'll answer your questions based on my own experience:

Does anyone actually have a cure? How do I get rid of this crap?

Not happening.

Will it go away if I stop taking Yasmina?

No. I stopped drinking Logest—the cellulite didn't change one bit.

Will swimming during the summer actually do anything for me? (I'm not exactly an athlete.)

No.
I’m active enough as it is, so that won't change anything.

Has anyone actually had success with specific creams? Or maybe supplements? Anything at all?

As for creams? No.
The only thing that actually worked was this cream I ordered from the States, and of course, it costs an absolute fortune. But the second you stop using it, the problem comes right back within a few days.

As for cellulite pills, I haven't heard of anything actually working. Not that I've ever come across them.

If any of this actually worked for someone, great. For me? Not even a little bit. Aside from that cream I mentioned earlier, which clearly just provides an optical illusion, nothing here has helped at all.

I've been battling cellulite for years, and honestly? I've finally just given up on it.
I'm fed up with obsessing over every single thing I eat, strictly avoiding juices—especially soda—and forcing down green tea. Between the massages and wasting money on endless creams, massagers, foam rollers, and ice rollers... I'm done with all these "remedies."
I won't even get started on how they neglect their daily responsibilities just to obsessively train for sports every single day.

I spent a long time stubbornly obsessed with getting rid of cellulite. I was so fixated that I would have rather starved to death than touched a single potato chip or a drop of Coca-Cola.
I was a total fanatic, yet I have absolutely nothing to show for it.

I still stay active and watch what I eat, but I've stopped obsessing over cellulite. At this point, I don't even bother hoping I can reduce it, let alone get rid of it.

Look, this is just my experience—maybe someone else actually pulled it off.
I suppose that depends, at least in part, on one's physical constitution.

Well, it won't hurt. (Maybe) it might recede slightly, but don't count on it disappearing entirely.

Unfortunately, nothing works.
If a cream seems to work, it's only while you're actively using it. It just tightens the skin so the cellulite is less visible. As soon as you stop applying it, everything goes back to the way it was.
The only actual recommendation is exercise, which also won't ever fully eradicate it.

Pure evil. 🙂

Listen, there might actually be a way to make cellulite disappear.
I happened to try out this massager at a coworker's place, and honestly, it stressed me out so much because I was so nervous about whether it would actually work,
so I went out and bought one the very next day, and I've been using it on myself for about a month now, focusing on those
"trouble spots," and the results are just incredible... I used to deal with quite a bit of
cellulite, but now you can't even find a trace of it. I had read somewhere before that
deep tissue massage was the absolute best solution for smoothing everything out, but let's be real, who has the time or money to have someone give them a massage
every single day? This massager is from
it's called the Relax and Tone, and it spins at about 2500 RPM.
Give it a shot...

Cellulite is honestly one of the worst things to deal with—and those big cosmetic chains claiming they can fix it with their overpriced creams, mud masks, or ointments? They’re basically lying straight to consumers' faces. You might be able to "reduce" it—and by that, I mean making it look less noticeable from an aesthetic standpoint—mostly through massages, which essentially just provides temporary coverage. But it always comes back, especially if you have a sedentary lifestyle or if there are hormonal pills involved (as is the case for 😉). I suppose consistent, professional massage would be the most effective route. Of course, typical summer activities can help, but anyone under the impression that they can actually eradicate cellulite is sorely mistaken.

Good grief! You guys totally caught me off guard! And all because of that Yasmina!
Honestly, I had no idea just looking at them could give me cellulite...
I seriously don't get why this female curse can't just be deleted from existence!?!?
So you're saying there isn't really a magic cream that actually works, but they aren't useless either, right?
I read somewhere online that it’s helpful to apply one of those creams and then wrap yourself in plastic wrap (or those compression shorts) and work out.
I'm planning on picking up an elliptical. I just hope I don't end up losing weight while the cellulite stays right where it is...🤣

Like everyone else has already pointed out, your weight has absolutely nothing to do with cellulite. I dealt with the exact same thing while I was on birth control pills. Once I stopped taking them, my skin cleared right up. Hormones can really do strange things to our bodies.
At the end of the day, you can definitely fight back against it—healthy eating and staying active are the only ways to go, period. No other theory holds water!
And please, save your money on those anti-cellulite creams—if they work at all, they just temporarily "hide" it, but the issue remains underneath.
The weather is gorgeous right now, though; cycling, rollerblading, running, hitting the gym—there are so many options out there!

I'll answer your questions based on my own experience:

Not at all.

No. I stopped taking Logest—my cellulite stayed exactly the same.

Nope.
I work out regularly anyway, so it doesn't help.

As for creams? No.
The only thing that actually helped was a cream I ordered from the States, and of course, it costs an absolute fortune—but the second you stop applying it, you're right back where you started within a few days.

I don't even know if there are actual cellulite pills out there—I've never heard of them.

If any of this stuff worked for someone else—great, good for them—but nothing worked for me. Not even a tiny bit. Except for that one cream, which clearly just provides a temporary optical illusion.

I've been struggling with cellulite for years, and honestly, I finally just gave up.
I got sick of obsessing over every single bite I ate, avoiding juice (especially soda) at all costs, choking down green tea, massaging, wasting money on endless creams, massagers, rollers, ice rollers... and all that other junk.
Not to mention how I neglected my daily responsibilities because I was stubbornly forcing myself to exercise every single day.

For a long time, I was incredibly stubborn about trying to get rid of that disgusting cellulite—to the point where I would have rather starved to death than eat a single chip or take a sip of Coca-Cola.
I was a literal fanatic, and yet, zero results.

I still work out and watch what I eat, but I’ve stopped stressing about the cellulite. I don't even hope to reduce it anymore, let alone make it disappear.

But hey, that's just my experience—maybe someone else actually succeeded.
I guess it depends partially on your body type.

First off, welcome to the club 😉

I totally relate to this story. I'm your age (25) and I've also been battling cellulite—well, I was, until I realized all these attempts were completely useless. I used to starve myself and be insanely careful about food. There was no way I was eating carbs or starch with meat; I wouldn't touch pasta for months; I cut out all juice and only drank water. I started hiking, dragging myself out of bed at 5 AM to crush a trail run through the Rockies by 8 AM, and then rushing straight to work. After work, it was the same ritual. I literally went broke from all those weekend hiking trips across the US. I hit the gym, upped my protein intake, did Pilates, rode my bike... It's not that I didn't see results; sure, my skin got firmer and I felt better. Sometimes. Sometimes, during intense physical exertion, I’d catch myself wondering why I was doing all this. Then one day, it clicked: I'm just a human being like everyone else. So why the hell am I killing myself to be perfect? Why should I feel forced to wear skimpy outfits in the summer when long, boho-style dresses can look just as amazing? Honestly, thinking about my looks just became exhausting. Lately, I only work out a little bit at home. Just some squats and Pilates exercises, mostly for my health. The hardest part is just accepting yourself for who you are.

Well, I suppose I’m living proof that even with a clean diet and regular gym sessions—plus swimming from June through October—cellulite can still hang around and refuse to be totally eradicated. It’s the same story for the other women who have been training alongside me for years. We don't have much of it, but it hasn't vanished; it’s just harder to spot because of our lifestyle. Some lucky women just aren't genetically predisposed to it, I guess.

It’s true that I don't deal with a ton of it, but it shows up in certain spots (if you really squeeze) and there's always a way to bring it down to some "aesthetic" minimum—probably by adding some consistent massage to help "mask" it, or what I call "applying makeup" to the skin. 😍

So, ladies, just stay persistent. Healthy eating, working out, massages, staying hydrated, self-massage... eventually, it will diminish and become almost invisible to the naked eye. 👍

Dieting doesn't solve anything, especially when it comes to starving yourself. I can't tell you how many girls I've seen during the summer who tried that. You can clearly see they lost weight, but their skin ended up looking saggy and flat as a board, while they still had cellulite everywhere from their glutes down to their knees and along their sides.

Of course swimming helps, and that has nothing to do with your body type, your metabolism, or anything else being discussed in this thread. It works wonders for me and my friends. If I hit the pool for a few intense sessions, I see great results almost immediately. If only I had a pool at home! Sorry for the late reply, I'm just now jumping into the conversation.🙂

Regarding the Person recipe, I owe a thanks to Misc and her mom. It’s probably excellent, but as she pointed out herself, it is quite complicated to execute. Consequently, I’ve just stuck to the City water recommended in this second recipe.

While there are plenty of very cheap anti-cellulite creams on the market, I have a strong preference for herbal preparations. Therefore, I am sharing the recipe I personally use—thanks to Mirt—which also comes from old books.

THE OIL
Heat 200g of olive oil until it reaches a boil, remove from heat, and immediately add 20g of dried oak bark that has been crushed in a mortar, then mix thoroughly. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then add 20 grams of finely chopped dried or fresh City leaves. Leave the mixture in a dark place at room temperature for two weeks. After two weeks, strain it through a pressed linen cloth or gauze.

One must massage daily for about 15 minutes, applying the oil by hand and using a coarse glove or massage brush. Following the massage, rinse off with warm/cold water and then soak the legs in City water.

CITY WATER
Finely chop 40g of fresh City leaves, place them in a jar, and pour one liter of water over them. Cover it and let it sit for 24 hours, then strain. Use the water after massaging and discard the leaves.

All ingredients can be purchased at a local health food store, except for the fresh City leaves, which I pick myself.

To make daily use of the oil more practical, I usually substitute the olive oil with paraffin oil for massage because it is very inexpensive and odorless.

Does it work?

I cannot imagine life without it 😉 but my skin looks beautiful, and it provides a psychological boost as well. 😁

This afternoon, I will type up that other recipe involving essential oils... if you apply that stuff, you'll feel instantly cured of everything, including cellulite. 👍

I will send a private message to Misc and ask her to write down her mom's recipe featuring City.

Hey Kenneth Hernandez67, hope you're still around, even though this thread is ancient... I didn't quite catch if you drink this parsley water after it sits, or if you use it as a soak for the affected areas? Thanks!
