So, I just started on birth control for the first time ever, and I’m currently halfway through my second pack... I’ve been super consistent so far, but then somehow today I completely blanked and missed my 2 PM dose, only catching myself and taking it about an hour and a half later...

According to the instructions, it should be totally fine, but since this is all brand new to me and I’m feeling a little paranoid, I figured I’d check here to see if it’s actually okay to just carry on as usual and take my next one at 2 PM tomorrow...

Everything's fine. Just keep drinking them as usual. ;-)

It’s as if I’ve never even touched OHC before.🤣 I just restarted with Belar, and I’m already nearing the end of the blister pack. I started on Thursday, and now it’s Wednesday—the final day.🤔

In my mind, the day you start taking it counts as day one, and the day you stop is the last day.😂

Everything's all good 😁. Think of it like the day before your big kickoff 🙂. In your case—Wednesday.

Has anyone else experienced their period just... stopping after they start birth control? Like, I took my very first pill on day one of my cycle, and then my period was incredibly light for two days before cutting off entirely. I’m assuming it isn't just random spotting since it actually showed up right on schedule.

Hey ladies! 🙂
I’ve been on Diane 35 for about six months now, and I finally asked my doctor for a blood work referral.
I’m currently on my second pack, and I’m stuck wondering—should I go get the labs done right now, or do I need to wait for that week when I’m off the pill?
Will taking them mess with the test results at all?
Is there a specific day that works best for getting everything checked?

I suspect that shouldn't actually impact the blood work results—though, of course, that really depends on which specific tests they’re running.

Alright, look, I get the deal if you just forget to take a pill when you’re already halfway through a pack... easy fix, right? But what on earth do you do when you’re like me—totally blanked after a break and forgot to grab a new box and take that first pill from the new pack?! It was supposed to happen yesterday... and now I'm scouring the internet and reading stuff saying I should basically double up today because you absolutely cannot have a gap longer than seven days. So, I head over to the CVS today, and this pharmacist tells me it doesn't even matter, just take the first one now and we're good... seriously?! Does anyone actually know which one is right? Should I be taking two today or what?

You really should have taken two tablets. And—this part is non-negotiable—make sure you use extra protection for the next week.

So, I finally went ahead and did it... because I ended up taking this "forgotten" dose this morning around 10:30 AM (I was actually supposed to take it the night before around 11 PM). And then, I took the next one right after I posted my question here—so, at 11 PM, which is my normal routine anyway. I did a little digging on Google too, and honestly, what I found made way more sense than just skipping that one dose like the pharmacist suggested...

So, here’s the deal,

I’ve been on the pill—specifically Lindynette 20—for nearly two and a half years now. But lately—over the last month or two, actually—my PMS has turned into an absolute nightmare. We’re talking intense nerves, crippling anxiety, zero motivation, and this sudden, irrational anger... honestly, I’m starting to wonder if I’m actually losing my mind. Since there haven't been any major shifts in my lifestyle—nothing new with stress levels or my diet, for instance—I can't help but wonder: is it even possible for birth control to make someone go completely feral during their cycle after using it for this long?

Anyone here actually tried Adexa pills?
My OB/GYN recommended them, saying they're top-tier because they have basically zero hormone impact—supposedly super chill on the system.

I’m actually starting my third pack tomorrow, and honestly, they’ve been total lifesavers for me...👍

Wait, how did you even score those?
How much do they actually go for?

Mainly just to deal with irregular periods, because I honestly couldn't handle my cycle being such a complete mess anymore...

$19It comes in a box, though there's supposed to be a three-pack version that's a better deal, but I haven't been able to track that down yet...

Are these some kind of new pills? There isn't much information about them online.

Honestly, I’m looking at it for the same reasons, plus a few other annoying little issues. I just can't seem to make up my mind. 🙄

I honestly haven't got a clue, though I'm thinking they probably are since I couldn't dig anything up either...

They’ve been working like a charm for me, honestly, and I haven't really dealt with any side effects except for some brownish discharge during my first pack that only lasted a couple of days... and my breasts feel kind of heavier now, if you even consider that a side effect... 🙂

Bubeta, if you don't mind my asking, how old are you? Are these the very first pills you've ever tried?
