Hey ladies, I’m letting go of two packs of Novynette for $33 since I’m officially calling it quits on drinking... expiration date is through June 2020..
If anyone's interested, feel free to hit me up with questions and I'll send over some photos..

Has anyone else experienced getting their period during the seven-day break🙄 like what happened to me today? I still have two pills left. This has never happened to me before.🤦

Hey 🙂

Has anyone here actually used Zoely tablets? I’ve been on Yaz for about a year and a half now, but lately, things have gone sideways. I started getting this weird, watery discharge throughout my entire cycle, and since the second-to-last pack, I've had these sharp pains in my stomach. My OB-GYN handed me a pack of Zoely to see if that clears things up. It seems like they aren't super common, and there's almost zero info out there regarding specific side effects. Finding real experiences on forums is a nightmare—it’s either people who absolutely love them or people complaining about breakouts and weight gain. Nothing in between.

Any insight at all would be great 😁

Hey everyone, I’ve got a quick question specifically about birth control pills.

Basically, my cycle has gotten all messed up, and I was planning on going to the gym right around my period (duh 😁).

Is there any way to use the pill to "reset" my cycle back to how it usually is?

Thanks so much 🙂>

Got a question. If I stop taking my Yaz pills halfway through the second week, when should I expect my period? Does everything just reset from scratch, or will I ovulate in about four days?🤔
Or should I just finish the pack first before quitting?🤔Usually, my cycle on Yaz is every 28 days.

Question.

I finished my course of Diane-35, but I haven't had a period in two months now (pregnancy is ruled out). Is this normal? :/ I read online that it can take a few months for your cycle to stabilize again. My gynecologist is on vacation right now, and honestly, I'm starting to worry it might be an infection or something, even though I just had a checkup at the end of June and my Pap smear came back totally fine.

Whew, I see this thread is looking a bit deserted, but I suppose I’ll give it a shot anyway:
Which supplements might you suggest for someone who typically deals with intense migraines and also happens to have some cardiovascular issues?

Are you absolutely sure you should even be taking pills in the first place? 🤔

So, I’ve been on the pill pretty much non-stop for about two and a half years now—with a few breaks here and there—and I’ve started noticing these tiny red dots all over my legs. And I don't mean pimples, I mean actual little spots that look like a tiny capillary just... popped right there under the skin.
About a week ago, I had this intense, stabbing pain in my calves. My legs didn't even look red or anything at the time, but man, I could barely stand up, let alone bend them. It was brutal.
By the way, those little "pimples" I mentioned earlier? They're only showing up on one leg.

I’m planning to head to my OB-GYN to get some tests done, but honestly, I’m spiraling a bit about whether I'll have to stop my medication. I take it for specific health reasons, so stopping isn't an option if I can help it. I’ve also noticed capillaries bursting and veins starting to spread out—but then again, I read online that this is actually pretty common and doesn't necessarily mean you have to quit the pill. Should I be worried? Or is it just one of those things?

Has anyone else dealt with something like this?

mistybear12 said:That is exactly right... and I should also mention that even with routine blood work, they absolutely must perform a Pap smear and an ultrasound. In my experience, after every six months of using contraception, a follow-up checkup was mandatory...
I find it truly hard to believe that irresponsible gynecologists still exist today who neglect these essential screenings, especially since birth control can have such serious health implications for those in high-risk groups...

To add to that—for me, all I really do is call my nurse to get a refill on my prescription, and that’s it. My OB-GYN told me I need to stay on this therapy until I'm ready to get pregnant.
Lately, I've been hearing everyone talk about how this isn't "good" for long-term health, but honestly? I don't care. I refuse to go back to the absolute horror shows I dealt with before I started this—the kind of pain that would land me straight in the ER.

I have a question,
I accidentally took two Lindynette pills in a single day, and then just kept going like nothing happened. I did a little digging online and everywhere says I should start the next pack a day earlier than usual because you shouldn't go more than seven days between packs. I actually went to check with my gynecologist, but he didn't really listen to me—he’s always in such a rush and just told me to keep taking them as I normally would. So I asked him, "Wait, shouldn't there be a seven-day gap?" and he just looked confused and said it doesn't matter. So now what am I supposed to do?... 🤷

What pills would you guys suggest for someone dealing with brutal PMS and unwanted hair growth? I'm seriously considering just getting off the pill entirely—or at least switching things up—because right now, they aren't doing anything for me...

I personally feel like Diane-35, Yaz, or maybe even Lo Loestrin works wonders for acne and hair issues, though I know everyone's body reacts totally differently! What are you currently taking?

lyndette. I’m dealing with acne too :/ honestly, my biggest issue was just horrific PMS—and it’s still just as bad now, if not worse. I even thought about skipping the seven-day break and just going straight onto the next pack, but my PMS starts ten days before anyway... so that wouldn't have stopped it...

Oh man, I totally feel your pain because those side effects are absolutely brutal, but it sounds like these pills just aren't doing your body any favors, so you should definitely look into trying a different brand! When I was on them, that long week off was such a nightmare for me too—I felt absolutely miserable and my skin would just go downhill fast—so I tried shortening the break for a few months to see if it helped, but eventually, I just had to give up on birth control altogether. Between the weight gain, that endless hunger, and my facial skin getting so incredibly dry, I just couldn't deal with it anymore..

I don't even think it's the pill itself—I'm dealing with the exact same issues I had before. And honestly, it feels like most male doctors hear "PMS" and immediately think of some cute movie trope about craving chocolate... 🙄 How am I supposed to explain that I don't want to feel suicidal for ten days out of the month, and that I know there's a medication out there that actually works? I haven't gained weight, but my skin has been peeling since I can remember... so you're saying the pill might actually make that worse?

If you aren't seeing any real improvement with your skin—like those breakouts or the hair growth issues—but you're dealing with peeling skin and just feeling totally miserable overall, then honestly, those pills might actually be making things worse for you! If I were in your shoes, I would definitely look into switching over to a different option.

Does anyone actually know what’s going on with Softinellamas and Rosanellas?

First, they pulled the Softinellas—then they were offering Rosanellas as a substitute. Now, suddenly, the Softinellas have magically reappeared, and the Rosanellas are gone. I’ve been trying to dig around online to figure out what the deal is—whether there's an issue with the tablets themselves, some corporate drama, or something else entirely—but I can't find a single scrap of information anywhere.

So, this is my fourth pack of Diane 35. I finished some yesterday, and I know I have five pills left before my scheduled break. However, I couldn't manage to take my pills today, and since my doctor was working the morning shift and isn't available to ask, I'm feeling a bit stuck. I currently have two full packs on hand. Should I just go ahead and start the new ones now, or would that diminish the effectiveness of the treatment?
