Hey there!

Everyone’s headed for eternity—live in Jesus, or die in this fake world.

I’m not here to play theologian or act like some preacher; if it’s His will, He’ll find someone else to do the witnessing.

I’m just looking for people who are truly free in Jesus. Maybe they don't even realize it yet, as long as they aren't fighting Him or stuck in some cult of personality or rigid dogma.

If God is their spirit and their truth...

And I mean actual truth, not just some intellectual theory or emotional hype (which is just a lie).

There was this one guy here before, I think his handle was Krishnamurti.
His signature said a time is coming when we'll see who follows the Spirit and who just follows the money.

So, anyone who isn't out here paying for books, expensive seminars, or data plans just to "elevate" themselves is potentially
welcome. (Seriously, if you think breathing exercises and yoga poses are "spirituality," please just skip this one):

Let's stick together and win in Jesus against this world of losers (that's what I call the miserable souls of this world—if I'm wrong, feel free to set me straight).

You’ll find it if you head to a monastery—then all your problems just vanish. You won't even need those measly $31 tips for yourself or anyone else; you'll be part of a great crew with Christ in your heart—you just have to sacrifice your comfy little life, easy as pie...

Nah, I’m not exactly looking to join a monastery. Those places are just glorified retirement homes for people trying to dodge reality. I’d rather earn my own peace of mind than spend my life lying to myself—and everyone else—pretending we’re all one big happy family when we clearly aren't, just so I don't end up in a lake of fire with the rats.

Whatever. Honestly, I’ve already got my brothers and sisters in Christ, and I don't need some weird secret society or Masonic lodge to feel connected. (Not that I'm complaining, though.)

But anyway, look at the bigger picture here—this whole thing is just pure absurdity, you know?

Regrettably, such people are rare, as the harsh conditions of this world tend to break one down at the very roots during childhood.

In my estimation, finding anyone of substance in this prison we call the world is a difficult feat; perhaps one might stumble upon a few credible channels on YouTube to facilitate some distant connection, but even that falls short. I, too, am unfortunately among the captives. While I find myself sharing your sensibilities, I would be hesitant to pursue a physical meeting, simply because you are a woman, and I should prefer to avoid any unnecessary chemical reactions or attempts by The Matrix to exert control over us through such means.

Socializing online or via phone is certainly an option.🙂

Hey Alexander Kern58, you might want to move this over to the Religion subforum—this Spirituality section is basically just a magnet for cultists.

Hey mods... maybe this "looking for a brother in Christ" post belongs in Religion instead?

God help us!

I ran for the hills from organized religion the second I actually read Jesus' Word.

Look, man, wearyharbor41, I’m not here looking for "brothers and sisters" just to kill time—and definitely not looking for any guys, if you catch my drift. I just wanted to see if there are any actual living souls out there who realize the WHOLE damn world is built on deception.

And when I said "use," I meant using this space to help expose the sheer absurdity of everything we deal with.

The spirit inside us is way more powerful than whatever is out there in the world.
But honestly, when you try to navigate life through American institutions, you hit a wall of shocking truths pretty fast.

What Jesus taught was this: sin is not believing in Him, righteousness is going to the Father and no longer seeing Him, and the judgment? The prince of this world is already condemned!

The Matrix isn't some clever escape, either—it’s just another Hollywood trap.

Evil. The old serpent. Satan.

Grab a Bible, put Jesus' word first, and just walk through the world for a bit. You'll see. One place they'll tell you you're sick, another says you're healthy; one place you're wealthy, the next you're a pauper.

That's the work of Evil. Seriously. I had a temp gynecologist once who told me, with total sadistic glee, that my ovary had failed, then a few weeks later my regular doctor tells me everything is perfectly fine.

That's how Evil works. It grabs people, sows fear, and uses that to drive everyone insane.

It’s been common knowledge for a long time now that anyone who picks up a Bible is just going to find their own personal interpretation of it.
This is a textbook example. Without any real insight into the mystery, people simply see whatever they want—or are capable—of seeing.

We differ slightly, but that is simply how it is. We are unique.

Life and death are much like light and darkness.
One cannot claim light is everything if darkness does not exist.
One cannot celebrate life without an awareness of dying.

I believe this life and this specific space-time is a mesmerizing thing that glorifies God. It is glorified through one's own faith.

The difference in my perspective is religious in nature compared to yours, though I accept your view as well.
My stance is this:
Believers live eternal life.

Not "they will," "if they do," "perhaps," or "eventually." Those are merely temporal logical loops.
The question of being or not being is happening now!
Either you believe or you do not.
Yes, yes, no, no...
That is the entirety of our choice. 😉

By choosing truth outside of earthly logic tied to time and space—the very foundation of faith—we are eternal, glorifying the absolute.
We are all one in love. 🙂

That's how Evil works. It grabs people, sows fear, and uses that to drive everyone insane.

Or perhaps, quite simply, we should just accept that we are merely human beings, complete with all our virtues and flaws. We err, we tire, we fear, we misinterpret things, and we struggle to fit in. We try to understand, yet we find it difficult to forgive, hard to let others into our lives, and we remain suspicious. We are a long way from that theoretical ideal of love, because in practice, loving, forgiving, and remaining humble is incredibly difficult.🤷

Lately, I have been reading about spirituality and religion, and as a mere layperson, I find myself wondering how far these topics have drifted from the simple, peaceful teachings and prayers our grandmothers used to instill in us.
And yes, we are all just humans, and it seems we possess an almost compulsive urge to dig up some ugly little pebble just to toss it onto an already growing pile of mud and spit.
In the end, it results in the conclusion that we are all evil and destined for hell—whatever that means to anyone—and somehow, people find a strange sense of equality in that.

In your opening post, you categorize people into brothers and sisters versus outcasts and lowlifes, all while calling yourself Jesus' sheep.
Do you truly believe that is appropriate?

To be clear, I am no saint myself, nor am I criticizing you. I am simply reading and asking questions (and not exclusively of you).

There are plenty of people like that, but I worry they aren't actually ''in Jesus,'' so does that mean nothing? If someone isn't ''in Jesus,'' are they just human trash or something? I’m genuinely confused, so I’m asking. 🤷

Anyway, what’s the actual plan once you (if ever) actually meet? How exactly are you going to defeat this world of cripples?

Look, we aren't exactly going to beat Him through some internet forum; Jesus already won that fight. We're just here so when our faith hits rock bottom, we can find some strength in the discussion, right?

For most people, Jesus is the God of mercy, not necessarily love for everyone (blasphemy against the Holy Spirit—the truth is, there's no forgiveness for that). His word judges. Period.
So, when I used that harsh term, I was talking about the ones who reject Him, the ones who consciously choose damnation, do evil, and absolutely hate the truth.

The Bible is the living Word of God; it doesn't belong to some quasi-church organization. But let's be real: you can't actually interpret it if you're drowning in booze or living in adultery. And yeah, by adultery, I mean anything outside of marriage, even just making out.

That's just the truth.

If you’re reading the Bible while wallowing in sin, all you're gonna see is your own demon and nothing else.
But if you've just stumbled and you truly don't want to sin, then you'll find the living Jesus in every single sentence.

Black Ship, we do not sow?

Are you actually living in the Word?
Because the Word tells us that others did the sowing, and we're just the ones reaping the harvest.

I am sending you to reap what you didn't even work for. Others put in the effort, and you're just stepping into their hard work?

Oh, I'm starting to feel the sting. Apparently, as an alcoholic adulterer, I can't interpret or understand anything on my own, so I absolutely need you to explain it to me.

Hey mods... maybe this "looking for a brother in Christ" post belongs in Religion instead?

So, following that super classy request of yours—and hey, I’m being just as "classy" here—I’m also asking the mods to finally move the Buddhism as religion thread over to Religion. It’s pretty obvious that it counts as one of the 5 major world religions.
It’s officially recognized in several countries (just like Christianity, Islam, etc.), and I’ve never understood why it’s stuck here instead of where it actually belongs (which is pretty clear if you look at the context provided—it’s obvious!).
I get what’s happening, though. The followers running things here keep acting like Buddhism is some special snowflake, claiming it’s basically the "essence of spirituality" (kind of like they think Buddhists spray perfume while everyone else is just sweating... give me a break). They're using cheap tricks—like intentionally pinning the topic under Spirituality—to try and claim this fake sense of exclusivity. But listen, Christianity, Islam, or any other religion isn't any less spiritual to the people who actually live by them!
Christian and Islamic mystics and saints have always been my go-to for spiritual food...
Personally, I find my spiritual connection through Christ.
Buddhism has never really clicked for me in that way. To me, it feels spiritually empty, and having it tucked away exclusively here feels like blatant forum discrimination.
So, maybe watch who you’re pushing around and why you’re doing it (just a friendly heads-up).
Wouldn't want you getting swept away by the same broom.
I'm dead serious (just check the link/proof I attached at the start of the post)...

When you’re walking through this world, but the world isn't living inside you—instead, He lives in you, our Lord and personal Savior.
It's about having faith in Him and His Word as your foundation, building your entire life on solid rock.
It means staying grounded in His Word day after day, constantly storing up treasures in heaven rather than here on earth.
It’s when you finally let go of yourself, setting aside your own ego for His sake and the sake of His Word.
It’s when you stop being ashamed of Him in front of others and instead try to bring everyone closer to Him.
When the One who conquered the world overcomes the lusts of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life within you.
When He transforms from being just a Friend into being your Father.
That is when you are truly born again in Him, and His Spirit comes to dwell within you.

Greetings, sister in Christ!

P.S.
Right now, I’m working my way through some books by Osh that I managed to snag for free, while I actually paid for some guides on olive trees because I’ve started planting them. My neighbors are incredibly forgetful people, so I’m trying to help them remember their roots.

I am just an ordinary sinner living in this relative world. Yet, I am absolutely perfect within the truth—woven from love. 🙂
Like all of us, I am a child of God. 😉>
Jesus spoke beautifully regarding what you are saying, but the narrative continues. People tend to stop the story wherever it suits them; I know I certainly do.
I will not shout, though sometimes Jesus does:

John 12:44-48
And Jesus cried out:
"Whoever believes in me does not believe in me, but in the one who sent me;
and whoever sees me sees the one who sent me.
I, the Light, have come into the world so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge them.
I did not come to judge the world
, but to save the world.
Whoever rejects me and does not accept my words has someone to judge them:
the very word I have spoken—that will be the judge of them on the last day.

I, like you and everyone else, possess my own judge.
It is all based on faith.
If I believe, there is no judgment (there is no discernment of good and evil). I have chosen to accept those different from me in faith, believing we are all one Body.
If I do not believe that we are one, or if I believe the enemy needs love just as much as I do, then I am judging. In truth, I judge myself through my own choices.
To judge is to step outside of faith. It leaves me with sand at my foundation, causing me to scatter, fade, and perish.

The world only requires illusions.
There is absolutely no need for them!
Everything I require has already been given to me. 🙂

Love never judges (the tree of life).
Love gives, love accepts, it does not resist, it does not justify itself, it does not punish, and it does not judge...
Love serves.
Love gives thanks.

By resisting and judging, I fail to hold onto the Word. By resisting and judging, I believe someone else is less worthy. From a purely Divine perspective rooted in love: in those moments, I am dying.
Suffering is not accidental. It is a reflection of my choice, of my faith.
Our own faith is what saves us!
It is not Jesus who saves, for He always declares: Your own faith has saved you!
Jesus accepts the cross because I accept it myself. He always maintains faith, unlike me, as I struggle within this relative world. I am not of this relative world, yet I fall frequently because that is how we are taught...
Accepting an enemy in love is a turning point worth celebrating!

This world is magnificent. 🙂
Let us celebrate love! 🎉
