Look, sin isn't quite what Satan tries to spin it as these days. If sin was just getting into a scrap with someone to grab some cash, or indulging a little, or being "kindhearted" while we protect animals and nature... damn it! (Yeah, it's a sin. But not because God is some villain and we’re just wild creatures made to be free with our big brains... Read more...)
Sin is a mistake—one, two, five, twenty mistakes—and then it's straight to the hell of Sheol.
I've been reborn, which means you actually read what Jesus said, realize people are still selling Him out for thirty pieces of silver today, and decide to actually follow Him.
If a woman goes after another man while her husband is still alive, she's an adulteress. Adulterers, just like all the unfaithful, end up in the lake of fire according to Revelation.
That's just sound logic from the Holy Spirit.
We can call a husband a monster and pile up mountains of evidence for a court case, then try to twist Jesus' words about how "whoever receives a child in my name receives me, the One who sent me"... and convince ourselves we're righteous...
I've actually done a case study on those losers living in luxury with their "new life in Christ," claiming Satan was ruling their marriage before.
(And I'm not talking about the mystery of the religious institution of "marriage"—basically, any legal marriage is marriage as far as I can tell.)
Then, suddenly, they show who their real daddy is, and it definitely isn't the one in heaven:
They take selfies while feeding the hungry or smuggling so-called alms to Nigeria.
A second marriage is adultery.
Unless you're truly righteous and haven't even looked at anyone else (or if you're a total jerk but stayed faithful), and a woman just goes for a walk and indulges her body a little too much... Then they say you can move on, but honestly, the ones allowed to move forward are just waiting for some Catholics to hit them with a process in a few years for like 300 bucks...
So once again, their God isn't Jesus...
The only way Jesus, the Good Shepherd, leads you from a first marriage into a second is if there is actual purity, devotion, and a death that tore you apart.
The path is narrow. It's not popular because why bother? Why not just have a little fun and burn for eternity? "My body, my choice," right? Or just crank up the music and say, "Give me everything" (as Satan would say).
P.S.
People leave relationships in tears, and marriage is a total eclipse—you can't just forget you were married and that the other person is still out there living their life. You CANNOT just jump into a new one, because that's just another lie that works today but destroys your soul and body in hell tomorrow.
What is hell?
?
Eternal condemnation.
There's a reason why the walls and clothes in your house outlive you—so you might actually stop and wonder, and finally open the Gospel.
Hell is a state of unbelief.
Even a tiny bit of faith moves mountains.
In the freedom given by God, there is salvation for me and for us—those of us struggling to remain separate from this materialistic world. Salvation lies in knowing we are all children of God existing within this temporal, material realm.
Furthermore, a holy marriage is the glory of Love, or more accurately: the glory of freedom = the glory of God.
Marriage is a path that leads us toward faith and toward repentance.
I entered into marriage in freedom and in love with my beloved.
Since we are all unique individuals, the circumstances within a marriage provide an excellent opportunity to accept those different from myself, thereby enjoying the creation of family unity.
Therefore, by embracing marriage through acceptance, respect, and gratitude for our uniqueness, we build a family that glorifies God, Freedom, Life, and Love. 🎉
Thank you, God, for marriage!
It is beautiful to live in the love of God's children. 🙂
I understand that some choose sacrifice or demand personal justice, but that leads to estrangement and breakdown. It is difficult to carry such a cross and such suffering.
Ultimately, we either accept our neighbor's will in love and turn toward them, becoming even more enamored with life, or we mistakenly believe that changing partners will solve everything.
But since we are all unique and distinct (even identical twins), the pattern repeats... We cannot sustain the illusion of necessity for long.
I am not in a marriage to fulfill my own needs for companionship. In marriage, I am complete without seeking fulfillment in another. By accepting the differences of my neighbor, I choose to create within the marriage; I choose to love. 🙂
