Hello
Has anyone here ever been part of a commune, a specialized hospital, or a specific support group?

Specifically, I'm looking for firsthand accounts regarding The Last Supper community or the Cliff specialized facility.
What was your experience like there?
What are the rules and restrictions?
Do they separate men and women?
What kind of people typically stay there?

Also, which organizations would you recommend for individuals dealing with social anxiety, depression, Asperger's, or personality disorders like borderline, avoidant, schizoid, or schizotypal?

Go ahead and ask your local doctor for a referral to a psychiatrist in your area, and maybe check if they run any group therapy sessions there too.
We have some options over here, and since we aren't that far apart, I guess you could always drive over to my neck of the woods if things are looking thin where you are.
It really helps, trust me.

Sure, they exist here too, but I’ve mapped out a different path for myself if things don't change regarding certain issues.
I was simply asking about people's experiences; I want to get a feel for what those communes are actually like beforehand.
The best way is to hear it from someone who has actually been there.
As for group therapy, I already have a pretty good idea of how that works.

Why are you jumping straight to joining a commune?
That should really be your absolute last resort, maybe even the very bottom of your list of options.

It doesn't have to be right now,
but in a few years, it’s looking pretty inevitable.
I need to find a community that isn't some kind of concentration camp.
Because apparently, according to everyone else, there's nowhere else in this world for someone like me to fit in.
Some guy with a shotgun who lost his mind was in a similar spot once.
So, what's the alternative? Retreat back into video games and let what little personality I have left just wither away until I'm bouncing between psychiatric wards?
As if I'm guilty of anything, I've just been screwed over by life.
I could accept it if I had spent my whole life being a total piece of trash and treating people like garbage, but I haven't.

But that last part... that's where the issue lies.
That's just it.
Just because you haven't been a total scumbag doesn't mean other people don't get to be one to you.
Screw all those rules, the morality, and whatever other nonsense they preach at church.
Just live your life however you want, and hey, if that means stepping over people just to find some actual satisfaction or happiness, then so be it.
Goodness doesn't really pay you back—not in any way that actually matters, anyway.
Just be yourself and stop giving a damn about everything else. Be a jerk, I guess, but at least be a happy jerk instead of some miserable saint.

Live your life exactly how you want, even if that means stepping over anyone in your way just to find some semblance of satisfaction and happiness.
Goodness doesn't come back to you, at least not in the way you think it does.
Be true to yourself and stop giving a damn about anything else; be a bastard, sure, but at least be a happy bastard rather than some miserable saint.

Even regarding what you mentioned,
I sign off on everything you said.
It’s just that I’m neither a happy bastard nor a happy saint.
But whatever.
You just find a way to get by, even if you're unhappy doing it.

Honestly, forget all those rules, the morality, and all that other stuff they preach at church.
Live your life the way you want—even if that means stepping on a few toes to actually find some happiness and satisfaction.
I guess good deeds don't always come back to you... at least not in the way people hope.
Just be yourself and stop caring about everything else. I mean, maybe even be a bit of a bastard, but at least be a happy bastard instead of some miserable saint.

That sounds like the perfect recipe for a wasted, miserable life to me!👎

I mean, you can tell he's totally out of his depth when things are actually going well...
