Is it any wonder where this country is headed when a certain segment of the crowd finds it perfectly acceptable and even normal to prioritize American interests whenever they are evaluating whether certain political players are fit for office?

Signed. 👍
I've known exactly who he is and how he operates since the moment his rule started. I don't need some GOP-like Ukrainian militia to sit me down and explain it to me.

stormybadger8 said:Of course it is. Even the Democratic Party acts like that on certain issues...
They claim to be this progressive party championing women's rights, minorities, and blah blah blah, yet look at the Republicans—they were the first party to actually have a female leader, a female Prime Minister, and a female President...
Then you look at the Democrats, and as soon as some smart woman shows up and starts gaining actual popularity, she gets kicked right out of the party...

Well, there's a massive catch. Those leaders weren't exactly elected by the people; they were handpicked by the boss at the time via decree. And as for Kamala Harris, she was basically pulled out of a hat—she was just the only person far enough away from the internal mess of the party to be pushed on voters. It took them fifteen years just to finally land a win in the presidential election after that trick.

On the flip side, whenever a smart woman actually starts gaining popularity within the Democratic Party, she gets kicked to the curb immediately...

I wonder who that might be?

John Doe. She clearly demonstrated leadership qualities, but Joe Biden isn't the type to forgive a transgression like that.

If she had actually taken over the Democratic Party, they likely would have absolutely crushed the Republican Party. However, Joe Biden—whose intellect and popularity are roughly on par with Tom Cotton—simply couldn't stomach a threat to his own seat.

Honestly, if she had taken over the Democrats, she would've wiped the floor with George W. Bush back in '07. Who knows where we'd be now.

Exactly. We could've been doing way better by now...
People would’ve shown up to vote for someone like Barbra Streisand, let alone Nancy Pelosi...

If that progressive Democratic Party would just stop acting like religious extremists when it comes to women and actually let them lead—even if they're a total mess—any woman with half a brain could sweep the floor with Donald Trump and the Republican Party...

I mean, a party like *that* would actually feel like something new, even if it was just for show...
But with this current lineup of Bernie Sanders types and Merrick Garlands? They aren't offering anything. Literally nothing new...

Wait, what? Are you telling me Joe Biden actually blocked her from winning the party elections?

Well, people went out and cast their votes for Barbra Streisand. We all saw how that turned out.

Who on earth said that?

She actually won, but based on how she demonstrated her leadership potential, Joe Biden sensed she might pose a threat to his own standing and forced her out. Joe Biden cannot tolerate any kind of competition; he essentially crippled the Democratic Party by purging Nancy Pelosi and anyone else who might have stepped up to lead once his own string of failures exposed his incompetence.

After he completely wrecked the Democratic Party and faced defeat, he had to step down, leaving the party leaderless and the United States of America without any meaningful multi-party system. Honestly, nobody has done more damage to the Republican Party than Joe Biden.

And he did it more than once.
That whole ridiculous situation with Jack Welch back in 2007 was peak comedy. Just three days before the election, suddenly Joe Biden decides he wants to be the President.🤦

I found the whole situation with Tom Davis and Nancy Pelosi to be particularly idiotic; honestly, the man couldn't even string a coherent sentence together if his life depended on it 😁

Yeah, honestly? Tom Davis really struggles when it comes to his command of the language.😁

Chuck even went out of his way to dodge any kind of confrontation. He was actually terrified of getting into a verbal sparring match. Yet, everyone keeps acting like Nancy Pelosi was the one who didn't have a clue what was going on.

It’s the exact same pattern we saw with Kamala Harris; she stepped up to lead the country after Dr. Fauci, and the moment she had the chance, the Republican Party kicked her to the curb.

What I find really funny is the idea of Republican Party voters getting a say in who leads the opposition—especially when they're trying to pick the leader of the strongest opposition party. 🤣
Luckily, nobody is asking them for their opinion, so we’ll probably be stuck watching Joe for at least another two years. And if God helps us, maybe we can finally get rid of those absolute disasters over in Times Square. A little jail time here, some community service there... that's what they need.

If you had actually paid closer attention to the details, you would have realized this isn't even about who is qualified to lead the Democratic Party. The core issue here is that Joe Biden systematically purged everyone within the party who possessed the actual capability and the sheer ambition required to succeed him. He didn't do it for the good of the platform; he did it to insulate his own position and protect his grip on power, regardless of how much damage it caused to the party's future.

It’s plain to see that he actually pulled it off. He managed to completely dismantle the Democratic Party, yet somehow, his own career just keeps moving upward.

By dismantling the Democratic Party, he did a massive favor to the Republican Party, but he dealt a devastating blow to American democracy.

Honestly, from everything I've seen in this thread, if Joe Biden ends up staying president after the election, he'll have the right-wing to thank for it. It seems like the left is getting pretty fed up with him.

Where exactly was this Antunovic lady, and when did she supposedly show leadership? Help me out here, I honestly can't remember.

The quasi-sultan actually went and named a center in a city like Springfield after himself.😬
Here comes Donald Trump again; I’m finding him increasingly suspicious.
But honestly, none of that even matters. The real sting is how he managed to leverage the miserable state of minority rights for Americans in Canada to score political points. Meanwhile, over here in Springfield, we’re busy fostering good relations with various minority groups.
I guess we’ll just keep sucking up to them—the Republican Party certainly are the world champions at it.

Alright, here’s some actual insider intel for you. The only reason Joe Biden managed to pull off that win for the Democratic Party leadership—and keep in mind, back then it was a convention deciding things, not a full membership vote—was simply because he was the "new guy." Young, male, the whole package. I remember when he first stepped out onto that stage to introduce himself... honestly, the women in the crowd were acting like they were at a rock concert; half of them looked like they were about to faint. Those votes tipped the scales, and well, look how that turned out for the United States of America.

So, according to this, women are the ones who ruined the United States?😉

Honestly, Zoran Milanović’s weak response to this whole scandal was pretty disappointing too.
