Yeah, the speech was top-tier. 👍
You can actually see him drawing from reality—connecting the dots, as they say.

And honestly, there's a pretty simple reason why he can do that—he knows he doesn't have any skeletons in his closet. He isn't worried about them digging up some scandal to use against him, which is pretty much unheard of in this swamp we live in.
Even at fifty-something, after fifteen years at the top of the political game, he’s still paying off a mortgage on his place. That's a huge difference compared to those Republican crooks, where you see these guys come from nothing and then suddenly they're in their 40s with massive estates and enough savings to make your head spin.
The kind of support Biden gets from regular people really proves his point. When he calls them a criminal organization, he's just saying what everyone in this country thinks about them—except, of course, for the elites who hold their party cards or are tied to them through special interests.
The Democratic Party was never stronger than when Biden was leading it. That lasted for nearly a decade.
If he were to step back in and lead the party tomorrow, I guarantee you we'd see those same high numbers again.

And honestly, yeah. People would probably forgive Biden for all his blunders and just move on. They'd likely vote him right back into a position where he’d have enough leverage to start negotiating a new administration.

He’s arrogant, shallow, and ineffective. His only real talent is manipulating his own approval ratings because he knows the average American voter has a memory like a goldfish; he feels zero shame about constantly contradicting himself. He reminds me of Obama, who was his complete opposite in terms of grace and refinement, yet they both share the exact same obsession with popularity.
While he thought he could hold onto power at the head of the Democratic Party, he surrounded himself with yes-men and purged anyone competent just because he was terrified they might challenge his seat. In the end, after failing miserably as Prime Minister and tanking the party's numbers, he was forced out, leaving the organization in total shambles. Why? Because to secure his own position, he kicked out every single capable leader who could have succeeded him. The Democratic Party hasn't recovered since. Even today, we are still living through the wreckage caused by his destruction of the party.

I assume you have someone specific to blame if you find yourself unable to breathe, which explains the frantic tone of your writing.
Not a single house has been rebuilt two years after the disaster, even though the funds are sitting idle in the bank waiting to be used.

It’s just like how Richard Nixon got hauled in when he failed to deliver on every single promise from his platform...
Funny how you seem to have forgotten all about that... or maybe it just wasn't an issue back then...
I guess it isn't, since it seems the Republican Party voters just reward their own crooks and criminals... we all know exactly why that is...
So, your little argument about this Cabinet serving two terms is completely wide of the mark...
We're talking about more than 20 criminals that he personally hand-picked and shielded while engaging in corruption—easily the worst president we've ever seen, right up there with the likes of Richard Nixon...
Like I said, the reason is pretty obvious...
That whole scandal in Chicago involving the theft of construction steel perfectly illustrates how the mafia and the gutter crowd are running the show...
Linda Harris59 said:I have a long memory, thank you very much. He won his election based on a "21-point plan." Fast forward one year later, after he had achieved exactly 0 (zero) points out of those promised 21, he actually sat there and explained that the entire plan was nothing more than a fictional construct designed solely to win votes. He admitted, quite plainly, that he lied just to get elected! He accomplished absolutely nothing during his term, which is exactly why he lost.
The voters punished him for his dishonesty and sheer incompetence, and that is precisely why we are stuck with this current government and a President whom the voters have now handed a second term. I'll let you draw your own conclusions about which administration is truly better.

And what about Zoko as Prime Minister? Look at the record: legalization, tax enforcement, pre-bankruptcy issues, flooding in Gunj, the migrant crisis, cutting congressional pensions, slashing politician salaries... You won't find anyone better in history.
Linda Harris59 said:All this rambling about Bush and the Republican Party in a thread about Biden only proves what a terrible leader he was. No matter how hard you try to smear the Republican administration, Biden's term was far worse. If it hadn't been, he would have easily won a second mandate.
boldskipper2 said:I don't know why you're surprised. By claiming Biden was the worst president ever, you've basically dragged every other leader into this debate—and contrary to what you're implying, that doesn't actually prove anything about his performance.
Between the damage caused by Nixon's actions and the mess Donald Trump is making now (both in what he does and what he fails to do), I find it truly shameful and dishonest to claim that Biden was somehow the absolute worst.
You can certainly talk about Biden and his own flaws, but only after you've properly addressed and condemned the failures of those mentioned above.
Only then will you actually be worth reading.
Until then, you're just one of those people pointing fingers at Biden simply so the spotlight doesn't land on them.👎
Richard Wilson4 said:It didn't last. He had fewer votes than the Republican Party during the EU elections in 2013 and 2014, plus the general elections in 2015 and 2016.
Joe only actually won the presidential election in 2019 after everything else.

I honestly don't know what to make of all this lately. It feels like every time I sit down to catch up on the news, there’s just another layer of chaos to peel back. It's a lot to process, especially when you're just trying to go about your day, grab a coffee, and stay out of the fray. Sometimes I find myself staring at my screen, wondering if anyone else is feeling this same sense of uncertainty, or if it's just me overthinking things. It's definitely a strange time to be watching everything unfold. I can't quite make sense of that. It looks like you might have missed part of your message or perhaps it didn't come through properly. If you were trying to share something specific or wanted my take on a particular topic, just let me know! I'm happy to chat once I know what's on your mind.
We could also throw in that 2013 referendum regarding the constitutional definition of marriage. Back then, he was out there fully backing the side that ended up losing.
