As far as Joe goes as a salesman, I don't think there's any shame in it at all; if anything, it’s quite the opposite.
Then again, we don't really know for sure whether he was actually successful or not.

And honestly, who knows? Maybe he did. Back then, a thousand or two bucks felt like ten thousand dollars does today... those were tough times in the nineties, just trying to make ends meet every single day...
I really don't get why anyone would call that shameful. There's no shame in working, no matter what the job is.

For some people, it’s apparently a total disgrace to actually do anything productive unless it involves typing nonsense on internet forums. I guess if you aren't busy sucking up to the Republican Party, you're just not working hard enough.

Frank Martin13 said:...let’s step back a few years to when Joe Biden held one of the most significant positions in the country—serving as our Prime Minister, if you will—and his track record was such that he’s still haunted by the reputation of being one of the worst leaders the United States has ever seen. His public demeanor—for instance, making comments about being the leader of some "accidental nation"—was so off-putting that even his own party members eventually turned their backs on him...
...and as for your comment about him being right concerning Mexico and diplomatic relations... well, if we're looking for weak points, just look at someone like Milorad Dodik, among many others. There is an endless list to draw from...
...and now, Joe Biden as President? I’ve mentioned this before—it’s the ultimate high-level position, the pinnacle of power, completely devoid of real accountability... it seems almost tailor-made for him, as if he were simply hand-picked by the powers that be who pull the strings behind the scenes...
...look, I was raised to respect everyone—we are all creations of God, after all—and that includes the President of the United States, Joe Biden. However, I expect two things from him: first, that he conducts himself as a true Statesman in every sense of the word, with an unwavering commitment to patriotism—and I mean *real* patriotism, without any hesitation... and second, that he goes privately, away from the cameras, to personally apologize to the parents and relatives of the fallen American veterans whose names are etched on the memorial plaque at a site like Auschwitz, regarding his comments about tossing things aside... (those heroes' remains were found in an unspeakable state—truly martyred)...

Best regards!

The "worst leader," the "accidental nation," the bathroom flood nonsense... it's all just lies cooked up by Republican scum who couldn't care less about the truth. It's pathetic to cite those as actual failures or proof against Biden. But I guess if you're a fool in that party, you'll swallow anything they feed you.

Patrick Cook said:The reputation for being the worst Prime Minister under the most incompetent administration is sticking to the current guy, Donald Trump, just like it did to the last one.

He's easily the worst leader in our history! Compared to this sick, bloated puppet, Richard Nixon actually looks like a serious statesman who just got a little too carried away.

Do you really have to call him a "gaunt anemic" too?!😁

Ronald Chavez2 said:When values are completely upside down, it’s supposedly "shameful" that someone spent their college years hawking vacuum cleaners. But this sudden sense of disgrace only comes from the crowd of sycophants backing a figure whose own father wrote his graduation thesis and whose mother conveniently used a fake anemia diagnosis to dodge his military service.

For those criminal types, it's hard to understand—they just get handed cushy political appointments and don't even have to show up to work. Who would bother struggling with a stupid vacuum cleaner?

I was sitting on my porch earlier today, just watching the neighborhood settle in for the evening, when I started thinking about some of the discussions we’ve been having here lately. It’s funny how certain topics just stick in your mind, isn't it? You see something on the news or have a quick chat with a neighbor, and suddenly you're looking at things through a completely different lens. Anyway, I wanted to touch on a few points that have been circling my thoughts. I know things can get pretty heated in these threads sometimes, but I try to stay level-headed about it all. There's no sense in getting worked up over every little thing. I remember back when I first moved to this part of the country, I used to get so stressed out by the local politics, thinking every small change was going to upend my entire life. But after a few years, you realize most of it is just noise. You learn to pick your battles and focus on what actually matters. It seems like everyone has an opinion these days, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it does make finding common ground feel like a bit of a chore. I think if we could all just take a breath and look at the bigger picture—without all the shouting—we might actually get somewhere. Just a thought while I finish this coffee. As if I haven't heard this one before.
When everything is upside down like this, people start acting like it’s some huge scandal that someone spent their college years selling vacuum cleaners just to get by. It’s honestly funny how people view it that way. That whole sense of "shame" is really just coming from the crowd of supporters backing a guy whose dad practically wrote his graduation thesis for him, while his mom pulled strings to bail him out of military service with some convenient diagnosis of anemia.

This is exactly how the mind of some incompetent idiot works—someone who basically carries around a criminal organization's ID card. Honestly, what a joke. It’s honestly embarrassing. You’re better off just playing the part of the loyal little puppet for those old-school party sycophants, just waiting around for them to toss you a bone in the form of some petty theft or a shady kickback as a reward.

And there’s the argument right there.🤦
Once they start running things the Republican way, everyone starts chanting the same old mantra: "They're all the same, they're all stealing, they're all just filling their pockets."
Well, newsflash—they aren't the same. You only have to look at how much damage certain pests actually do versus those who contribute nothing at all. It’s pretty obvious who sits at the top of the leaderboard when it comes to being a total drain on society.

...using soccer terminology, as a former Prime Minister of the USA, we're talking RED CARD 👎 ...
...as the President of the USA, using soccer terms, we're looking at a YELLOW CARD...
...you can read my full explanation in my post from a few days ago—I really don't feel like repeating myself...
...if he actually pulls this off and fulfills everything he's promised—which, in my view, and I believe the vast majority of Americans would agree, he certainly could—then he could easily become the lifelong President of the USA..👍
...and regarding the adjectives you've so graciously bestowed upon me, and the political party you've decided to lump me into 🤦 you might as well take the title of a Route 11 album 🍿

Caught something recently... kind of like, you know?

He just talks and talks, rambling on and on, only to end up with... I'm not exactly a Republican....

Looks like Trump is stepping in to save the day again. No price hikes on gas after all?

How much longer can they keep trying to save us?

That isn't even an argument, it's just a straight-up fact. People love to act like it's just the Republicans who are like this while pretending everyone else is the complete opposite.
If you're going to slap labels on people, then do it properly instead of just picking and choosing when it suits you.

So what, everyone just gets a free pass now because the other guys are just as bad? 🤔

Look, I’m not saying everyone needs to be forgiven, but let's be real for a second—it feels like every single instance of corruption or shady dealings is tied directly back to the Republican Party. It’s just basic math at this point. Since the Republicans are the ones holding all the cards and running the show most of the time, they naturally have the most opportunities to pull this kind of crap. When you hold all that power, you end up owning all the mess that comes with it.

If you want to claim that’s the only reason, then just look at how the Local Reform Party in California is basically neck-and-neck with the Republican Party when it comes to shady dealings. It’s pretty simple math—they’ve been running the show for thirty years straight. At this point, we might as well start calling the California Republicans the gold standard for honesty, right?

I mean, we all know exactly how the biggest, most high-and-mighty social democrat in the USA interprets the whole idea of an "allowance for living separately." It's a joke.

The whole "left" side of the aisle? Honestly, it’s nothing but a bunch of Dalai Lamas.

How many investigations have actually been launched and how many indictments have been handed down for corruption and theft against Republicans, versus everyone else?

...it's this total blanket amnesty🤔 they give themselves; the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, and all their little satellites—they're embedded in every single layer of power, from the judiciary right up to the Supreme Court... they are essentially two sides of the same coin. They grant themselves forgiveness without ever bothering to ask you, or me, or the American people... there’s actually this strange phenomenon where occasionally one of their own rogue actors pops out of the woodwork—usually through some media outlets working in lockstep with them—and suddenly, the whole system turns on him, much like a pack of wolves descending on a lone, weak member of the pack. Honestly, that particular phenomenon should probably be registered with the U.S. Patent Office as a piece of protected cultural heritage...🍿

Wait, you're telling me the Republican Party—that whole bunch of traitorous, elitist scum—is actually the right wing?🤣

The Local Reform Party isn't even in the same league as that criminal gang of Republicans who build their empires wherever they can—whether it's through the federal government, massive state corporations, or even just some basic construction supplies...

Even if you could somehow argue that these indictments actually mean something—which, let's be real, they don't in a country like this—the bottom line is that the Republican Party has most of its people sitting in local government seats. And honestly, if you aren't in a position of power, you can't even get a chance to steal anything.

There’s a reason why people in California call the Local Reform Party "the Republican Party of California."

That’s just not true. You might find one here or there, sure. But among that whole criminal element? You couldn't find a single decent person even if you went through them one by one.

Compared to the Republican Party, they look great. Sure, you'll find crooks everywhere, but within the Republican Party, it's nothing but corrupt scum. I don't know a single person in the MAGA movement who hasn't either swindled someone, messed up a deal, or landed their job thanks to some criminal relative in the party. Honestly, I don't know anyone like that.

Other parties have held power and had plenty of influence too, but it wasn't this much blatant crime. With this criminal trash, not a single day goes by without some new scandal breaking. And if it happens over a weekend, you only hear about one story because the journalists aren't digging deep enough.
It's just a bunch of interconnected criminal pieces that make an honest person want to spit right in their faces.

Joe Biden: I'm not signing off on training Ukrainians on US soil

"Look, I'm not behind this idea because I have zero interest in dragging the US any deeper into this war than we already are. We’ve been helpful, we've shown solidarity, and that should be enough. Period. As Commander in Chief, I won't greenlight this. I haven't even seen a formal proposal yet, but let me tell you now—I'm not feeling it. This feels like bringing the war right to our doorstep," Biden said, per CNN.

"I'm telling you right now—let's not go down that road. Now, as for all the stuff people want to donate? That's out of my hands. That's hardware and supplies, which is the administration's call. I'll only back donations if there's some clear plan to get those resources replaced. I can't support gutting our own defense capabilities. American defense comes first. After that... well, nothing else. Then NATO. Then everyone else," he added.

I know, I know—I’m probably risking getting my post nuked because apparently you aren't allowed to criticize Joe Biden anymore (just ask me about the last time I tried to speak up), but this is just 🤣

What is with this incredibly petty, obstructionist attitude?

Is Russia going to suddenly shower us with Iranian drones tomorrow?

He acts all terrified of Russia, yet wants to play tough guy when it comes to helping Ukrainians?

Honestly, he’d be better off heading over to Canada to help Donald Trump defend his buddies from another vote recount.
