The Ukrainians managed to pull off a significant win here, one that carries real weight since it secured the release of those heroes from Mariupol.

And since when does a bunch of guys in yellow vests threaten anyone with mobilization? 🤔

As long as Putin stays breathing, he’s going to keep pushing. He’ll just keep grinding forward until there’s nothing left to push against...

Probably Medveschuk and that general. Russian nationalists will be losing their minds—the general who let that stuff happen near Kharkiv, plus tycoon Medveschuk. Just what Russia needs right now.

Viktor Bondarev, head of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, stated that reservists called up during Russia's partial mobilization will undergo training for over a month before being deployed to the special operation in Ukraine. “Naturally, they won't arrive there within a month. They will be sent once it is determined that these individuals and units are combat-ready,”

Will the Ukrainians hurry to finish the liberation?

Fkors, if the Russians say it's true, then it must be true. I mean, they wouldn't lie about something like that, right?

What were Medvedchuk's political stances actually like before 2022?

Not a chance. It’s a carbon copy, right down to the last detail, especially when it comes to Konashenkov.

Nathan Thomas12 said:The real headache is going to be all those body bags heading back home to Russia. Once people start seeing that, maybe then we'll see some actual massive protests...

Until at least a million Muscovites take to the streets in an organized fashion, they will just keep sending their sons home from godforsaken places in black bags. If that many people actually show up on the streets, even the police might lose control of the situation. Once a crowd truly moves, it is better not to stand in their way.

They made the list. It feels like just another brick being pulled from the foundation of Putin's stability.👍

The people who were arrested for protesting against the mobilization in Moscow just got hit with their own mobilization notices 😢 https://i.ibb.co/GM5sp9B/pozim-5.jpg

Oh, sure—as if they just do it out of pure boredom, only to toss them straight into an unmarked van and drive off toward some unknown destination. 😁

Do you think they're doing this as a form of punishment? Or was the notice already delivered earlier today?

How on earth did Prokopenko and crew from Azov get released?

I honestly thought there was zero chance of that happening.

Who was asking for what? Honestly, we’re just guessing at this point—it sounds like something straight out of a movie. Nobody actually knows the deal yet. I'm assuming since they weren't executed, there isn't much left to squeeze out of them. They gathered some intel, sure, but who knows what kind of value they actually walked away with.

They basically traded them for higher-ranking prisoners, Wagner guys, and Viktor Medvedchuk. There was likely some serious cash and a bunch of other perks baked into that deal too, probably acting as collateral for future swaps and negotiations down the road. It’s pretty interesting how much influence the Saudi and Turkish sides had here. But again, how it all went down is anyone's guess—this whole situation with that Azov crew feels totally cinematic.

And honestly, what’s the actual point of mobilizing protesters like that?
I guess you could just send them off to cover lines on some distant front... maybe.

Great idea! Let the Ukrainians just bomb them with surrender messages instead.

Heh, the Russians are busy locking down the borders to stop anyone from running away...
No big deal though, because once they start forcing everyone into mobilization, people will just surrender to the Ukrainians at the first opportunity, and in a few years, they'll all be living out here in the West.

Just dump them right at the border with Canada. I hear the folks over there are famous for their hospitality.
