Goodness, ๐Ÿ˜ hey there, sister! ๐Ÿ˜’

I tend to envision all philosophers in much the same way, particularly my dear Uncle Siggy. ๐Ÿ˜

I picture Flying as this sharp, high-browed typeโ€”long, sandy-brown hair and dark eyes. They've got this intense, thoughtful look about them; someone decisive, though theyโ€™d probably hate admitting how much they actually care about things.

Iโ€™ve been thinking about how much our perception of "vacation" has shifted lately. It used to be about disconnecting entirely, but now it feels like we just move our stress from an office chair to a beach towel. We spend half the time worrying about whether weโ€™re actually relaxing enough to justify the cost. Itโ€™s a strange sort of modern exhaustion. You fly halfway across the country, sit in a hotel room that looks exactly like the one you left, and spend your time scrolling through feeds of people who are doing the exact same thing. Thereโ€™s a performative element to it all nowโ€”if you didn't document the sunset, did you even experience it? Itโ€™s exhausting to think about, let alone execute. I find myself increasingly skeptical of the whole industry. The more they sell us on "escapism," the more I feel like I'm just paying for a different scenery for my own restlessness. As I see it:
Look, ล tima, that was just how things were back when I was younger. ๐Ÿ˜

Youโ€™ve finally become that benevolent version of Pickwick, all rosy-cheeked and soft around the edges. ๐Ÿ˜

I was right in the middle of a deep dive with Jednostavka and Sigmund when leteฤ‡i decided to crash the party.

The philosophy section needs some moderation. ๐Ÿ™‚ :

Basically just a bunch of vibes tied to their avatarsโ€”Volver is Penelope, Sigmund is like a mashup of Leo Nikolayevich and Karl Marx, Neo is this total hippie traveler, Jednostavko is just a grumpy Mlinarec, while addx and Apemant are basically Hrvoje Prpiฤ‡ (long hair style), and then you've got Bear and Walnut who are just... well, chunky...

But you've gotta try thinking about other philosophers instead of just yourself ๐Ÿ™‚

Iโ€™ve always had this weird fascination with people who actually bother to thinkโ€”people who question everything. They have this way of just... slicing right through my logic, dissecting it so cleanly that Iโ€™m left standing there totally defenseless. And it isn't even about them trying to win an argument or dominate the room; theyโ€™re just analyzing the internal mechanics of my thought processโ€”which, let's be honest, does have its own internal logic (pun fully intended here)...

Itโ€™s honestly exhausting when you run into those "shallow thinkers" who try to make up for their lack of depth by using fancy vocabulary and high-speed rhetoric. Itโ€™s all just a performance to protect the status quo, really. We end up wasting so much damn time on these pedantic little word games instead of actually getting into the meat of thingsโ€”having a real, raw, intellectual clash that actually means something.

Well, if I actually looked like that, I'd probably have a massive fan club...๐Ÿ™„
Though, I guess I do get that sort of vacant, faraway look sometimes.

Anyway, my friends tell me I kind of remind them of someone from Goldman Sachs.๐Ÿ˜›

I mean, itโ€™s not like he isn't throwing a little shade here, ๐Ÿ˜› I think Rambo should definitely give Orest (you know, the guy from the movie Agora) a bit of a hard time

In that case, go ahead and try to find a true deep thinker whoโ€™s willing to challenge you through nothing but facial expressions and shouting, provided you can be certain they aren't just trying to outtalk you for the sake of it.

Just chilling on vacation out in Georgia, picking hazelnuts, when I stumble onto an idea. It isn't just catchy, either. Itโ€™s logically sound, perfectly argued, and backed up by hard facts.
