You keep hiding behind the word "science," but even when you're faced with a mountain of research that proves you wrong, you still insist on running your own little circus... can't stop once someone calls you out... look, don't be a total psycho, just skip the posts when you realize you're wrong and go argue your own stuff elsewhere.

Here’s the verbatim breakdown of what went down:
YOU:
LOL. No way. You need to cite an actual peer-reviewed paper or a consensus from the scientific community. Until you do that, everything you're saying counts as my position being right and yours being nothing but pseudoscience—claiming things as "scientific fact" that haven't been proven at all.

ME:
Fine, whatever. We'll just pretend your version of reality is the truth if it means this conversation finally ends. I honestly don't have the energy to keep going in circles with you personally anymore.

I gave you a perfectly civil response... yet somehow you still can't just drop it...

What exact topic? You mean the one about scientific proof for Kundalini and how it’s linked to all these crazies, just like you claim? We're back to this again—did you actually listen when we were talking about scientific papers, actual criteria, and the critiques? Why are you still digging your heels in like this and expecting anyone to take you seriously? Or are you gonna start listing random papers about how spiritual stuff or yoga affects psychophysiology and try to use that as "proof" for your specific Kundalini theories? Look, nobody’s saying certain techniques don't have effects—lots of things do—but you somehow twisted all that to fit your "Kundalini rising" narrative. It’s never been proven, yet you link it directly to neurodivergence and mental health issues and act like it’s some established scientific fact. Even at a glance, your whole logic is full of holes.

There's an ignore button for a reason. Instead of trying to tell everyone else how to behave—which, by the way, is totally against the forum rules—you're sitting here insulting people and trying to play amateur psychologist, which is definitely breaking the rules too.

lonestag15 said:First off, I already told you—I'm done arguing with you. You aren't exactly pleasant to talk to, so just respect that...

And second, EEG research has wandered into these waters countless times... basically, Beljki has already discredited two guys... one because he uses murky terminology and the other just because he’s from India... apparently, the EEG results don't even matter to him.

Then there's Ljubis Stojanovic, who was measuring the effects of these practices ten years ago and publishing everything in detail... and honestly, what university someone graduated from has nothing to do with the validity of that work...

So yeah, both of them were dismissed purely based on Beljki's "gut feeling."

Furthermore:
The phenomenology of kundalini activation is well documented, but the psychophysiology is yet to be fully described and understood scientifically.

The present EEG studies explore some neural correlates and provide objective validation of a profound and transformative subjective experience. Kundalini activation is recorded as a high voltage discharge of delta and theta brainwaves, followed by increased Beta and Gamma power. The subjects report an ecstatic multi orgasmic experience lasting tens of minutes following the initial discharge. These pioneering studies aim to demystify this remarkable phenomenon.

after 25 years of laboratory Basic research in cellular neurophysiology, Dr. Acosta entered the field of QEEG (quantitative electroencephalography) in 1996.

Am I really supposed to keep wasting my time online, or are you going to find your own sources?

You’re a newer face around here, and honestly, you’re a breath of fresh air. 👍

Just a little heads-up: there isn't a single soul, masterpiece, molecule, or cosmic phenomenon in this entire universe—or even anything beyond N+1—

Personally, I think the smartest guy on this sub is the Istrian guy—and those folks are basically a century ahead of the rest of America... though us people up near the mountains (basically San Francisco types) aren't too far behind (except for 62 miles)

I was hanging out on this sub about ten years ago back when there were actually some heavy hitters around... and apparently, bluemason3 is the only one who never got married, which explains why he’s sitting on 30,000 posts. Seriously... any woman would've launched him to Mars by now 😉

1. He's a good guy, sure, but let's not pretend he's the smartest person in the room. He just posts so much that all that noise tends to drown out the actual gems.

2.) He actually has way more posts than you realize; over 20 years on this forum, he's probably racked up somewhere between 60,000 and 100,000. 😲

3. Here is some "STEM-level" evidence to back up these claims, just so neonmarlin39 can rest easy. 😛

Look, any casual fan of LOTR or just general fantasy knows that trolls and goblins aren't even in the same league. They're two totally different beasts. 😁

Are Tehuti, Bodjan, Ronin, Baphomet, Ndugu, Pavaogc, or Harmonije still hanging around?

...I see Nemruth is active, Samthing too, Krena... but practically everyone else is gone... and honestly, the quality here has absolutely tanked. Like, seriously...

Tehuti was definitely a heavy hitter...

It’s just wild how that indestructible Baphomet somehow manages to run the show as a moderator over all this magic and mysticism...🥱

Well, looks like they finally put him exactly where he belongs... though I noticed the moderators aren't even listed on this PDF—guess people have just given up on spirituality altogether... 🤔

If Varanasi and Bodjan were actually around right now, they’d probably be busy writing entire biographies about Ljubisa Stojanovic... honestly, Bluemason3 wouldn't be able to get away with that absolute mental meltdown and trash the credibility of a PhD holder—or whatever degree he's claiming to have—so easily...

The forums just aren't as popular anymore. I haven't been around here for about 8 or 9 years, and when I finally returned, the state of things truly shocked me. On the "spirituality" board, the most recent post was a year old. Alderlon wanted to archive and shut down the sub-forum, so I stepped up to moderate for a while just to prevent that. However, it became exhausting and tedious very quickly—there are just so many trolls, oddballs, addicts, people with serious mental health issues, and religious fanatics. There is no reason to spend one's free time reading through all that nonsense! That is why I only drop by occasionally now, and even then, I follow the discussions less and less. I start reading, and then I simply lose interest...

neonmarlin39 said:The whole point is that within this philosophy, you don't actually need God or Purusha to understand why lightning strikes or to feel confident that the world is real. Get what I'm saying? You still managed to get a view from both a spiritual and a philosophical angle, though.
And honestly, you don't even have to "believe" in something to work with a concept. Like I said before, whether I personally believe it or someone else does doesn't change the logic. This isn't some brand-new philosophy invented yesterday. You're totally free to offer a better, more meaningful explanation—philosophical or otherwise—or just tear it apart with a critique. Nobody's stopping you.

What are you even talking about?

It’s not any clearer to me

The world is real—did I ever say it wasn't? 🤷

The world is real only if you're looking at it through the lens of the mind.

The universe *is* the mind.

"Real" and "unreal" are just mental categories.

From the perspective of Brahman (the ultimate reality)—or from the standpoint of impersonal vision—

there is no such thing as reality or unreality.

That’s why they say the truth is neither real nor unreal.

And that’s why you'll find seemingly contradictory statements in the sacred texts for anyone foolish enough to think they can just logic their way to an answer.

(Brahman alone is real, the universe is unreal, brahman is Universe. Bhagavad gita)

Paul Rogers94 said:Look, this isn't some shallow "self-help" New age think-pink nonsense.

This isn't even really a discussion.
It was opened up just like several other threads—with a hidden missionary agenda, using Bible quotes as a way to prove why one *must* be Christian.
Intent defines results. Period.
So, if you're going to go there, say something about the mystical side of Christianity or Christian meditation.
Make Christianity actually look appealing for once.
Instead of immediately jumping to the tired "believers vs. atheists" cliché.
There’s Ignatius of Loyola’s meditations, Christian Gnosticism, early Christian mysticism...
Last summer, I hosted a priest from Rome—he stayed with me a few times. We’d sit outside on a bench, smoke some weed, watch the sunset, and talk about their techniques for direct experience, doctrinal differences, and all sorts of fascinating stuff.
Then you have Orthodox mystical traditions, Mount Athos, Gurdjieff, Solovyov...
...

All you people know is the "Our Father."
So say something then.
Even if it sounds stupid.

I have no idea what made you think I'm a Christian. I don't feel like I belong to any religion or sect, but, besides meditation, I do enjoy prayer sometimes. I have my own prayers and mantras; I don't believe in using "sacred languages," so my prayers and mantras are in my native tongue. Even standard formal language feels too stiff for me.

I mean, seriously—go ahead, tell someone to whack you over the head with a baseball bat, and then try telling them your pain isn't actually real. See how that works out for you.

The mind is basically this quantum field acting as the bridge between timelessness and time.
If you want to wrap your head around what "infinite" actually means, you first have to grasp what "limited" feels like—and that’s exactly what the mind is built to do.

Everything is real, even the stuff that isn't.😁 ☕
