Was Smiljana Srnec a killer or not?

If there’s one thing in this life that truly shakes me, amidst all the constant noise of the news cycle, it’s this case. That trunk... it's haunting. Every time I read an update, I get those same chills you’d feel watching a gritty horror movie—maybe even worse. It’s deeply unsettling to think our justice system might be failing here, leaving us wondering if the killer will actually face real consequences. Personally, I find Smiljana Srnec to seem incredibly cold and arrogant, someone capable of such darkness. There was just something in her gaze—it felt like looking at a textbook narcissist—especially seeing how she handled herself in court, clutching those papers and arguing with the witnesses. I also came across reports that she had a prior conviction years ago for filing a false report about being robbed; apparently, she’d actually gambled the money away and fabricated the whole attack. Even her daughter seems unnervingly calm, considering her uncle lived in the house for twenty years while she was growing up. I can't help but suspect she knew. And seeing what she chose to wear to the funeral... it felt completely inappropriate. It’s all just so dark.
