Psychosis—I need some help/advice here

It all started during a season when I began experimenting with psychotics. After being away for about a month, I came home to find hallucinations starting to take hold. That led me straight to the psychiatric ward in Indianapolis, where they put me on a regimen of antipsychotics, anxiolytics, and antiparkinsonian medication. My stay there lasted four weeks, and according to my medical records, I’ve been diagnosed with F-22.2, an acute psychotic disorder similar to schizophrenia. I find myself wondering if my condition is actually curable. To be honest, I'm struggling to even think about returning to work right now; neither my doctor nor I can quite tell if what I'm feeling is genuine clinical inertia or just pure laziness. I have been on Abilify 400mg for about a year and a half now, along with Duloxetine—which started at 60mg before my doctor bumped up the dosage after seeing very little progress. I am really hoping to understand if there is a path to recovery here. Has anyone else dealt with this specific diagnosis or these medications? I would truly appreciate any insight or shared experiences you might have.

There isn’t some magic cure for psychological disorders. It's just therapy to help manage the symptoms.
