Why does an economic meltdown always seem to hit right at the end of a decade?

You really think that's just a coincidence?

Even a cursory glance at this would debunk your claim:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...s#20th_century

It appears you have merely cherry-picked a small, biased sample to support your specific thesis.

Some of these trends began at the end of one decade, while others concluded at the end of another. Furthermore, if one considers the "contagion" effect, they certainly did not ignite simultaneously across all nations...

The next big downturn is coming in 2020

I’ll throw in a mention of CNBC just so people don't think I'm completely ignoring the mainstream media outlets. ☕

You’re being incredibly disrespectful, Hmore85. That kind of mockery isn't collegial, nor is it appropriate.

Total nonsense. Zero evidence provided to back up this claim. The OP is basically a blank slate—hardly anything here worth debating. Honestly? Just hit the lock button and move on.
