It’s kind of wild how people aren't actually that shallow, unless they start acting all high and mighty... you know, being super intense about being "intellectual," super analytical, or just acting like some total moral elitist or stuck-up snob.

They’re all about that hyper-focused vibe, as long as they don't turn that intense, judgmental gaze back on themselves...

And using sexual innuendo or being extra suggestive during a conversation can mean a million things. You really have to get to know someone first to figure out what they're actually getting at or if there's something deeper bothering them...

Can someone please walk me through the logic here? How on earth is a vocabulary filled with swear words somehow "poorer" than one without them? I'm struggling to make sense of that math. 😵

Yeah, I just mess with my own head sometimes, you know? Just a little reminder to myself about who's actually running the show... Me!

I find myself thinking about those people on a daily basis... honestly, I couldn't care less about the usual nonsense—corruption, pedophilia, crime, murder, fraud, or the exploitation of the poor and helpless. I don't even notice the individuals scavenging through trash in this lovely society I call home... but if someone reaches into a dumpster, gets a handful of dog excrement on them, and shouts "to hell with this," I can't help but feel a certain pity. I suppose I wish things were more like they used to be, when a local beat cop might have knocked some sense into them with a nightstick just to ensure they never thought about swearing—let alone digging through garbage—ever again. It’s quite a shame that scavenging isn't outlawed everywhere from New York to Los Angeles; perhaps we should protect the entire United States from these scavengers. If they aren't satisfied with their money, then they really shouldn't pollute this beautiful culture with their profanity.

.. though, I suppose if the pedophiles, rapists, and other polished gentlemen—the politicians, for instance—are wearing well-tailored suits, I find it much easier to overlook even the most repulsive curses... whenever I hear the sweet lies of hypocritical small-town types, especially their endless chatter about the weather or how important certain sporting events are... my heart practically leaps, and I feel a sudden surge of vitality. It is an inexhaustible source of positive energy, I guess. I am truly glad that I maintain such a positive outlook and continue to view life through a black-and-white lens... ☕

Look, without being cynical (since apparently that's considered "useless off-topic vulgarity"), let's be real. Regarding bans and reporting rule violations—that's just how the handbook works. 😬 Isn't it "classier"—being polite just because you can, as a way to actually be... something... to say "thanks so much, best regards, cheers" instead of "screw you, whatever, yeah me too, go to hell" when things get messy... People make this way harder than it needs to be. Whether you're eating off a fine china plate, out of a plastic container, or a gold platter... it's all the same. The menu might change, sure, but the act of consuming is identical. Everyone's equal. The only difference is how it's served. And the volume of the mess... but that doesn't matter... except maybe to those people living on their porcelain thrones. Just different versions of reality. The more of them there are, the more ridiculous and absurdly crude the whole thing becomes...

Good grief. It’s just petty small-mindedness all around. We tear apart the criminals, the predators, the killers, the politicians... while acting like those of us who are just "regular people" are the ones suffering. Everyone wants the "bad guys" sent straight to the gallows, the electric chair, or a bullet to the head. That’s supposedly the "best" way, right? Because that’s how we prove our "humanity" toward others. It’s really just an escape from ourselves—an inability to actually face our own issues—so why not spice things up by viewing everything in stark black and white? Thinking about people is total crap compared to actually knowing them. Having the actual willpower to listen to those "bad" people might be the bridge from thinking to truly knowing. But let's be honest, who actually wants to deal with that? Everything is a mess, we're all a mess, and nothing makes any sense. Maybe the easiest thing would be to line everyone up—the "good" and the "bad" alike—against a wall, give them a cheerful laugh and a middle finger, and then finish the job with an illegally obtained AK-47. We're all hypocrites, we're all selfish, we're all angry... There is a massive difference between looking at the world realistically and giving up, versus looking at the world realistically without throwing in the towel. But hey, it's hard to get out of your own chair and go sit in someone else's. I get it.
btw. welcome back Faqi,

Hey guys—just wanted to say, don't even sweat the people who constantly rely on PMs or K... you know, that kind of vocab. Honestly, why even bother?

Like, one minute someone’s complaining about another person—just venting, right?—and then they immediately flip the script and take it straight to some super vulgar, sexual territory... why though?
She's just wound up tight—can't even focus because she's clearly craving some serious action... someone needs to go over there and really take care of her, you know?

That’s exactly what I’m talking about—you know?

Man, I missed my bus again this afternoon—seriously, what am I doing? 🙂
Honestly, this PM section feels more like a notice board than anything else—right?

Hopefully that makes more sense—does it? 😁

So, just imagine having a boss talk to you like that... honestly, would you even consider them a sane person? Like, is everything actually okay in their head? ☕

That’s straight-up workplace harassment. It’s a huge difference whether a friend tells you you're lacking in the bedroom...or your boss does. Unless your boss happens to be your buddy. And that's without any of those weird sexual undertones. Honestly, it's probably better to leave that kind of talk out of the office entirely. 😬 Plus, you could always turn it back on them and make it mutual harassment by saying something like "maybe you're the one who's frustrated since you've clearly never been with anyone," and so on. The boss might end up feeling pretty insulted when they realize they've met their match.
By "vulgar," are we talking about something that involves direct insults, humiliation, or anything said with pure negative intent specifically aimed at tearing someone else down?

Now, just imagine you’re sitting there and your boss starts talking to you in that exact manner. I suppose one has to wonder—is this actually a functional human being? Someone who truly has their house in order and keeps track of every single detail? Or is it something else entirely? It makes me wonder if such a person even exists in the real world.

Save up some cash and quit. 👍 Honestly, I sometimes wonder what would happen if people actually staged mass walkouts against those absolute nuisances in management. If we all just collectively decided to quit when faced with that kind of behavior, maybe—just maybe—people would actually focus on their jobs instead of being constantly driven to the brink of insanity by sheer incompetence. It’s a thought, I suppose. 😵 I suppose I have already forgotten what it feels like to work for idiots... though, if I recall correctly, appearances and optics always seem to carry more weight than the actual labor itself. So, I accepted the position. It isn't that I was actively seeking employment, per se; I simply completed the task at hand. 👍

Good grief, I suppose one really ought to have swallowed their pride and started from scratch somewhere, but that particular bridge was burned long ago—and honestly, those ashes have already turned into fertilizer for whatever is growing now. It’s all interconnected, I guess. You can't escape the cycle. And what exactly do you expect to happen when you're out in the middle of the jungle and you stumble upon a monkey or some massive gorilla? You're going to lose your mind, aren't you? There isn't anyone to turn to, no one to vent to about the absurdity of it all. In those moments, I suppose the only real option left is to strike and run. Just move on. 😬

What’s your take on people like that? You know, the ones who constantly push the envelope with vulgarity or constant sexual innuendos just to get a reaction out of the group?
What kind of personality does that actually point to, and how do you guys really feel when you're hanging out with them?

Why do you think some people feel this massive urge to stand out by being crude or talking about sex non-stop? 🤷

What are they actually trying to achieve there... is it just a sign of something deeper? Like, are there certain character traits that always seem to travel with that kind of behavior?

There is definitely something off about those types—it’s almost as if they lack the vocabulary to express what they’re actually feeling or wanting, or perhaps they feel somehow inferior if they aren't using swear words to command attention.

Personally, I find being in that kind of environment incredibly uncomfortable, so I make a point to steer clear of them whenever possible.

Now, don't get me wrong—I’ll let a curse word slip myself if I’m absolutely livid, feeling totally helpless, or stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, but I am fully aware that it sounds unrefined. I try to avoid swearing as much as I possibly can.

A swear word isn't the conversation itself; it’s just where the conversation hits a dead end.
To me, swearing is a blatant sign of weakness—it shows an utter inability to articulate exactly what a person is feeling.

When someone truly possesses a rich vocabulary, they express *exactly* what is bothering them, rather than using a vulgarity as some sort of crude defensive shield.

In short, relying on profanity is a remarkably shallow way to communicate. ☕

All this swearing is getting a bit much, isn't it? But tell me this: when Wall Street bankers are snatching the bread right out of your mouth, do you find that just as distasteful?

Honestly, what does someone's choice of vocabulary have to do with how the entire economic system functions?🤔>
