So, I got hit. Some kids on a scooter slammed into my car and just peeled off... classic. The cops showed up, did their little investigation, and basically told me there’s a 99% chance they’ll never find them. Typical... just another day in this broken system. Anyway, I ended up tracking them down myself... reported it all to the police, and turns out the passenger actually confessed. It also came out that the scooter was stolen, so they just ditched it in the middle of the street where someone else probably swiped it again. The driver is sitting in jail now, but according to the cops, they can't even get to him... apparently, they don't have the jurisdiction to go into the facility to interrogate him. So here I am... five months later and still waiting on a police report. Without that paper, my insurance won't pay a dime for the damage. What am I supposed to do? Is getting reimbursed in cases like this actually an impossible mission? Thanks... and sorry for the random vent...

Just send them a formal request for the minutes—you know, including everything you've gathered so far—along with a copy of the internal audit report...
