It's a little bit of everything. A cocktail of consumerism, social media, tech addiction, pure hedonism, bad parenting, and trash media has turned us all into eternal children.

All jokes aside, you're probably right about why it happens. But honestly? I’d much rather deal with moms who game while the kid naps than the ones sitting there every night watching The Farm or Big Brother with them. My little cousin used to recognize people from those shows before he even knew his own relatives 😵 )
