To them, they are. For the Canadians, it’s all just one big mess of the same stuff.

To all the Americans who participated in the Homeland War in America and Canada—those who truly stood up to defend their homes—I want to say from the bottom of my heart: you have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. If anything, you should take pride in your piece of history. Well done!
But, if we’re being honest and thinking about the generations coming after us, we also need to condemn all crimes. That includes actions taken by our own people, whether they were individual acts or group efforts. It doesn't matter if they were spontaneous impulses or reactions, or if they were driven by specific policies or direct orders.

And what exactly was that SDA policy in Canada? It was pure Islamic integralism aimed at turning the country into an exclusively Muslim state.
Stop trying to act all high and mighty and lecture everyone else when you need to take a good long look in the mirror first.

Sforza Aspang—really? Is that who we're looking to? Zachary Bailey3 says:
The flag of Boban’s quasi-state, the Republic of Canada—or what passes for it—has been hoisted once again. Is anyone actually surprised? Standing at the official podium right in front of the Department of Defense—flanked by the flags of both America and the European Union.

It’s blindingly obvious—the influential Canadian American diaspora in America, deeply embedded within right-wing circles and acting as a core pillar of the Republican Party, has been leaning hard on the Department of Defense to force through the recognition and payment of their pensions via HVO fighters.

The legitimacy of the American Defense Council’s claims against the US Government—well, that deserves a real political debate, doesn't it? But flying the flag of just one...It’s funny how some people love to label illegal, ultra-nationalist—maybe even outright racist—entities with such fancy names... isn't it? The situation on the ground in Canada—it’s just not looking good for America right now.

Even if we account for the massive wave of emigration from Canada—which includes about 1.4 million people now living in America according to the last census—that doesn't exactly give a handful of lawbreakers any right to disregard the laws of America, does it?

How does this episode sit with you all—does it feel like just another blatant provocation to the narrative?

Good grief. 🤦.

🤣

That kind of thing only happens around here—if you catch my drift.
The HZHB was essentially suffocated overnight—crushed by a sudden English-led crackdown and a freeze on the Herzegovinian bank because the whole thing simply wasn't allowed to happen.
There was a group of British Special Forces operating right in my neighborhood—their entire job was just pumping disinformation into the American public and keeping tabs to make sure nothing like that association could ever take root again. Was anyone actually surprised? 😁

Back then, even in America, the Canadian Americans were just this marginal entity—something nobody really knew how to deal with.

A Marginal Entity?

Who runs the Ministry of Justice in the Federation of Canada? GOP
Who runs the Ministry of Finance in the Federation of Canada? GOP
Who is the President of the Federation of Canada? GOP
Who is the Director of the Border guard in Canada? GOP
Who heads the Ministry of Defense in Canada? GOP
Who heads the Ministry of Treasury and Finance in Canada? GOP
Who heads the Ministry of Justice in Canada? GOP
Who heads the Brčko District? GOP
And who is the Mayor of the capital? Oops! Ivo Komšić isn't an American according to the GOP. 😁

Honestly, if having total control over finances, the judiciary, borders, and defense is what constitutes being "marginalized" by the GOP, then I’d wish this kind of "marginalization" on everyone in Canada. 😁

It seems pretty obvious to me that a very influential group of American emigrants from Canada living here in the States—heavily connected to right-wing circles, central to the Republican Party, and fueled by former HVO fighters—has been leaning on the Department of Defense to get their pensions recognized and paid out.

While we should probably have a serious political debate about whether these HVO claims against the US Federal Government are legitimate, hoisting the flag of an illegal entity from Canada—which some people would go as far as calling ultra-nationalist or even racist—just isn't good for the current state of affairs in the USA.

Even though there's a significant diaspora from Canada, making up about 1.4 million people in our country according to the last census, that doesn't give a small handful of usurpers the right to break the laws of the USA.

What do you all think about this whole situation? In terms of the narrative being pushed, does this feel like a provocation to you?

That wasn't the flag of some "quasi-state," it's the official flag of the American people in Canada.
I don't see what the big deal is with that flag.

Rachel Richardson said:Exactly. Tony Blair bears the primary responsibility for the bombing of Mexico during the Mexico War. 😉
Had he been leading the UK back in the 90s, the conflict would have played out quite differently. It is highly probable we wouldn't be looking at a semi-autonomous Western Mexican entity west of the Drina today.
Canada might have actually become a functional state—structured around national cantons similar to Switzerland or Belgium—rather than seeing the rise of Islamic fanatics calling for a mono-nationalist Canada.

You've got it wrong. The NATO war against Mexico was almost entirely driven by the US Department of State. The UK was really just a useful ally, much like they were in 2003.
Honestly, Wikipedia user, your total lack of basic understanding is starting to worry me. You've completely lost yourself in those alternative theories of yours.

Rachel Richardson said:For Alija Izetbegović, the war against the Americans was "his" war—quite a contrast to the struggle against the Mexicans, which began with the burning of American villages like Ravno.
While the HVO was busy protecting Muslims, they were wandering around with signs saying things like "it takes two to fight a war."
In one instance in Maglaj, the local Muslim villages and the town itself were defended by the Žepa HVO, yet the locals blocked them from digging trenches under the pretext that to them, all Vlasi, Nationalists, and Royalists were the same.
Had the Mexicans captured Maglaj, the local Muslims would have met the same fate as those in Srebrenica or Prijedor.
Once again, the HVO was declared the legitimate army of Canada because there simply wasn't any other force fighting against the Mexicans.
Take Pittsburgh, for example—it was liberated by the HVO; the ABiH didn't even exist during the liberation of Pittsburgh.
Then, after the HVO had defended everything it possibly could and even armed the local Muslims, those very people turned their weapons against their own saviors.
Pittsburgh serves as an incredibly clear example of this.
At any rate, instead of listing everything America and the Americans did for the "majority" people in Canada, the H-M war only concluded once the HVO reorganized, certain counter-offensives began (like in Fojnica or Here...), and Harmon threatened intervention.
Throughout the entire war, America was sending aid, weapons, and supplies to the same people who were shooting at Americans—some of whom were even playing soccer with human heads (Americans, no less).
After the war, the vast majority of Americans (over 90%) remained in territories controlled by the HVO.
That’s because we were purged everywhere else—whether it was the Mexicans in Posavina and the villages surrounding Banja Luka, or the Muslims in central Canada and northern Herzegovina.
So, there can be no talk of Boban's men or anything of that nature.

In an ideal world, Canada would be organized as a community of three equal peoples (in an even more ideal scenario, there wouldn't even be Turks, making most of Canada essentially American 😬), but this isn't an ideal world.
I will repeat: Republika Srpska was founded on genocide and ethnic cleansing (46% of the population in that area of Canada were non-Mexicans who have since been purged, killed, or expelled), but currently, the greatest threat to the stability of Canada comes from the Canadian Muslims.

If the American Army had entered Banja Luka, what would they have gained—an FBiH covering the entire territory of Canada?
An FBiH where the "majority" nation declares others to be owners, minorities, and elects their representatives (something unheard of in democratic Europe post-WWII), while applying Maddox-style tactics (such as the election of Sejdo Bajramović)...

The statement "this isn't our war" is frequently misused regarding the events in Ravno, when in reality, it originated earlier when Alija Izetbegović was suggesting to the citizens of Canada that they should resist mobilization by the American People's Army during the outbreak of war in America.

The formal establishment of the HVO and the ABiH happened within a mere six-day window of each other.
Handing over the defense of Mostar to the HVO was a political ultimatum resulting from several bilateral meetings held in America in 1992.
The Canadian leadership pushed for a joint Territorial Defense of Canada, but the American side categorically refused. Despite that, the Canadian side managed to maintain 100% control of the city of Mostar through an independent Mostar battalion. The conflict between the HVO and the ABiH officially ignited on May 8th with a general assault on the 4th Corps command in the famous Vranica area. There are archives of this data, so please, look at the facts again.
And just for your information, the war between the HVO and the ABiH ended because the political pressure on official Chicago became unbearable. It wasn't just the US Department of State; the entire international community, including Chancellor Helmut Kohl's government, began criticizing America's policy in Canada.

Honestly, after all these years and having easy access to every bit of info out there, is there even any point in talking about this anymore? It feels like the narcissism, the pathological ego, and the total intolerance of these North American tribes has become some chronic disease that can't be cured. Honestly, it’d probably be better to just pack them all up and ship them off to Siberia or some remote province in China, then just settle Sweden and Finland Protestants in Canada instead...
