If you ask me, the real yardstick for a person's spirituality isn't how much they bow down to others, but whether they actually take care of the basic things they have, like pulling up a blanket when it gets cold.
And let's be real, courage doesn't have anything to do with walking away from your possessions; you just need to find yourself in a situation where you finally realize how utterly worthless—and frankly, how toxic—that material junk actually is.😉
So, you're basing that whole idea on the motto: be happy with what you have..
But I don't think that's enough—not at all.
If you claim to be spiritual, then you have to be conscious, too.
Would it really be the opposite of that if you worked hard to earn more than you actually need?! I mean, maybe not?
Spirituality is a state of being—it's essentially a measure of your consciousness.

which has nothing to do with your spiritual wealth
The kingdom of God is either something you carry within you, or it isn't
regardless of any material possessions
For some, material wealth feels like a blessing
while for others, it’s a curse
Some people see everything as an illusion and find it all empty
yet others possess true fullness—that heavenly kingdom—even when they have nothing in reality

You're looking at this way too shallowly. Everything around us and within us is tied together by these invisible threads; it all functions as one giant, interconnected system.
You can't just ignore one side of the coin and pick favorites with the other...
Running away won't help you—eventually, it'll catch up to you!

Isn't Jesus' refusal of material riches in the desert the ultimate paradigm for choosing spirit over stuff? I'm worried you've completely misread that part of the Gospel. 👍 Don't mention it, though I do wonder if you ever bother correcting such blatant misinterpretations? 😲
