How do I actually fix this? I find myself blurting things out that I don't even mean, and then I end up being the butt of the joke or accidentally offending someone... I’ve been trying to change, but man, it’s tough. I tend to take everything literally and I'm pretty naive, so people take advantage of me more often than I'd like. I've always been this way, but it's really started to weigh on me over the last few years. Is it even possible to turn this around? Has anyone else here dealt with something similar? How did you handle it, or at least make it less painful?

I seem to recall some old parable from the Middle East—the details escape me, I suppose;

They say that language is the master of the mind... it has the power to crown you, yet it can just as easily leave you hollow-headed.🙂

But if you ask me... well, maybe it’s just a matter of deep-seated resentment bubbling over to the surface. That’s just my theory, of course... who actually knows what’s truly going on beneath the surface?☕

Get away from people who just use you for their own gain. You deserve much better company than that. 😉

Talking too fast can actually get you into some real trouble—it’s like driving a car with a stuck accelerator, you know? But the real question is, when does this happen to you? Is it all the time, or does it only kick in when you start diving into specific topics? Honestly, maybe what you really need is just someone you can actually trust—someone you can be completely open with and have a real, deep conversation without feeling rushed.
