Look, what's actually stopping someone from just signing a service contract and then flipping the phone on Craigslist if they're desperate for quick cash?
They'd be dodging those middleman fees on marketplaces and pocketing an extra few bucks for themselves.

But looking at the big picture, it's basically just a predatory form of credit. It's a total scam.

Honestly, I almost fell for one of those phone scams today myself. When you're short on cash, it's easy to let your guard down, but thank God I didn't hand over any personal info, so nobody can touch me. Does anyone know where I could borrow roughly $1333, maybe even $1000, provided they pay in cash and I deposit it directly into their account with a decent interest rate? I need to find $1000 immediately.
