How would things play out here if someone decided to pelt a politician with rotten eggs, pies, or something similar? For instance, let's say I run into a certain Prime Minister—or maybe just some other high-profile official—and I happen to have a rotten egg on hand and decide to toss it at them.
No injuries involved.
Would that be classified as disturbing the peace, something closer to terrorism, or something else entirely?
I'm sure I'd get a heavy hand from security, but I'm curious about how the legal system would actually view an act like that.

You’d definitely end up facing criminal charges. For a first offense, you might dodge jail time, but if you did it again, you’d almost certainly be looking at prison.
And honestly, you’d probably get hit with a restraining order keeping you far away from that person in the future.

But honestly, the government has a way of handling that too: they'd just slap it under the category of Hooliganism!
