Alright, let's start a fresh thread here.

I’m thinking it would be best to host this right in the heart of New York City or somewhere super close to downtown.

As for the date, Thursday, June 19th is a holiday—Juneteenth. Honestly, those mid-week holidays usually work way better than trying to squeeze people in on a Saturday or Sunday.

A late afternoon slot, maybe around 6 PM, feels like the sweet spot.

What do you guys think?

Well, that’s about a ninety-minute trek from downtown, which feels like a lot for a first hangout. Maybe we should stick to a shorter stroll instead?

But seriously, I’d only show up if it wasn't tomorrow—otherwise, I'd miss my last bus home at 7:45. Personally, a late slot like that wouldn't work for me even on the weekends 🙂

That’s really why we have threads like this anyway, right? Just to find a date that actually works for most people.
I'm traveling too, so I get it. If we were looking at a Saturday or Sunday, I might even consider making the trip, but I'd still need to be wrapped up by 8:00 PM since I have to catch my train.

Haha, okay, maybe around 3:00 or 3:30 would work better? Sunday usually feels a bit more chill than Saturday anyway. So, what do you think about picking one of the upcoming Sundays?

I honestly won't know which weekend I'm heading that way until the very last minute, so I'll just try my best to work around whatever you guys decide settles on.

Satur works better for me since I’ve got my sessions at the Psychic on those days, so dragging myself all the way into Chicago on a Sunday just isn't happening. But look, don't go planning everything just around my schedule—I don't want to be the one who messes up everyone's weekend if I end up being a flake and can't make it. 😁

Well, sure, we could just aim for one of the upcoming Saturdays instead. If we can get at least four or five people interested, who am I to argue? Honestly, we might even be able to make this coming Saturday work if the timing hits right.

It looks like I'll be heading out there for a day next weekend anyway, so I can probably swing things around so it lands on Saturday
