That sounds like a good plan. I had a feeling my arrival in Chicago would have a positive impact on you. It’s definitely time to start racking up some new wins. You’ve managed to gather a small crew here, but that seems to be the extent of it. It looks like there isn't anyone else left in the mix.

So, there's no more group dynamic to rely on. From here on out, it's just about your own spirit and your own individual strength...

But hey, let's make some room for everyone else too. There’s way too much gatekeeping going on lately. So, yeah, I’m stepping back from my own topic. Whether you decide to lock this thread or not is totally up to you—not my call to make.

It’s basically a group effort if someone else takes the lead on the prep work. I’ve already tossed all my ideas out there!

Four years and four months? Honestly, I think that’s the perfect window to pull back.

Personally, I don't really have many chances to give the people around me the kind of high-quality communication they deserve. So, I guess my mistakes were just a bit too much to handle, wasn't it?

And honestly? Life just keeps rolling on. I’m out here winning my own championship just by getting an early start to the day. When I look in the mirror, things are looking pretty clear to me.

Honestly, it doesn't even matter if anyone’s actually happy about being able to throw parties where I'm not even invited.

What can you actually do? Die an untimely death, I guess.

Winter is right around the corner, and honestly? I feel much safer just hunkering down at home and staying focused on work.

Lately, I can’t help but feel like I’m becoming a bit of a thorn in everyone's side.

Carl Rivera43, I happened to stumble upon a few of your posts while browsing through different threads—just some random ones I ran into—and I have to say, you seem like a really interesting guy. Honestly, you could probably write a book; I think you’d actually do quite well with it.

So, I'm thinking about trying to organize a little get-together for the folks on this forum from the PDF. Since it’s a double whammy of a non-work day—a Sunday and holiday—we could just meet up at a cafe in downtown Chicago (maybe somewhere like Starbucks or whatever works)—Donna or whoever feels like it. Everyone is invited, especially those of you who hang out here frequently. We end up chatting online almost every day, so I figured, why not actually try to hang out in person for once? 😉 lp

A little too late for me. Friday, January 4th would actually work much better. I almost certainly won't be able to make it this Sunday—so let's just aim for another time instead.

Well, we'll eventually find a day that works out. I'm stuck working this Friday, though I might be free later in the evening. Let's see if anyone else weighs in so we can settle on a day and time that suits most of the group.
