So, what's the plan for today? How many of you are actually showing up to the get-together...

Yeah, it’s happening today! A few folks haven't popped up on the forum lately to give a heads-up, but we'll probably end up with a small group, maybe five to seven of us at most.

Anyone thought about grabbing Maystorov's cell number so you can actually track them down if they vanish on you? 🍿

People on this forum love to stretch the truth when it comes to numbers, so honestly, it’ll just sort itself out eventually. 😬

Table Tennis:
crimsonpuma23 vs Samuel Kim7 3-0
Alexander Sullivan vs crimsonpuma23 0-3
crimsonpuma23 vs Carl Rivera43 (forfeit by the runner-up)
Maljciki-Flissiicoo vs crimsonpuma23 (match cut short because it got too dark)

Badminton:
Carl Rivera43 vs crimsonpuma23 10-12

And just like that, we have our undisputed champion from the first set of local sports games!
As expected, the heavy favorite absolutely steamrolled the competition, so we went to grab a quick quote, and all we got was this incredibly profound little nugget: "I came, I saw, I conquered."
But honestly, if you want the real takeaway here, it’s this: It’s the taking part that actually matters. 😉

Yeah, that badminton score was the biggest shocker {I was leading by two or three points most of the time, and then at 8-5 in my favor, Fliss goes on a 4-0 run... then somehow I managed to tie it up at 9-9... but in overtime, Fliss just had more game {and boom, there's the upset!}}👍

So, consider this your official invitation to join in very soon. The premiere of Psihopong went incredibly well, and the sequel is coming up fast!

🙂 Yeah, it was a blast. I should probably mention how crimsonpuma23 logged the results... we have to keep in mind they didn't touch a single drop of alcohol, while Carl Rivera43 and I were busy knocking back beers. crimsonpuma23, I’m not trying to take anything away from your win here, just stating the facts 🙂

Anyway, those were the results this time around. Maybe things will go differently next time? {But hey, good vibes are what really matter}

Oh, we did some card games too, though obviously not poker.

Whatever. I'm pretty used to hearing all these pathetic excuses from losers by now. 🕺
But honestly, looking at the big picture, I'm stoked we tried something different with this whole competitive vibe. Next time let's give tennis a shot or maybe even— dodgeball

Kabaddi? Now that sounds interesting. Might be worth looking into. Or maybe I should just stick to good old-fashioned football? What do you think?

So, basically, hitting those outdoor expeditions is such a great way to recharge, right? It’s the perfect reset. And honestly, once you get that momentum going, the creative ideas just start flowing like crazy. I've been feeling it lately with music, film, art—all that stuff. It’s like everything just clicks. Don't you find that happens to you too?

Yesterday was actually quite pleasant—meeting new people, enjoying some good company, being out in nature, and getting a bit of exercise. I suppose you won't find much better than that 🙂

Perhaps we could try hitting up Central Park for a swim some other time, and maybe get a game of beach volleyball going instead.

And hey, the sports stats should start looking up soon enough. {We just need to get the right game plan in place.}👍

We could totally do beach volleyball {as long as the ball is bigger}

I'm talking beach volleyball with a tennis ball {or maybe even a handball}

You can't play beach volleyball on gravel, genius. That's strictly a sandy beach thing.
I've actually already scouted out the absolute perfect spot at Central Park for a BBQ. We'll figure out the details when the time comes.

Milan can just pick up the tab. 😉
It’s just a little backyard cookout, let's not go overboard or act like we're catering a wedding at the Waldorf Astoria...
