I'm living in Phoenix, 27 years old, working away, and currently just hanging out in my apartment with my cat. I have a boyfriend, sure, but honestly? I don't have much of a social life... I’ve spent years keeping my distance from new people, and now I'm finally realizing how incredibly boring life can get when you do that. I don't have a single BFF to my name—just my guy, which feels pretty lonely in the long run...
I love walking around the city, checking out the sights, getting lost in a good book, grabbing a drink every now and then, or playing some online games. I’d really love to find some actual company again, just to remember what it feels like to actually have fun... because right now, things are pretty dull...

Shoot me a DM if you want to chat.

Girl, early twenties, living in Washington, D.C. Looking for a female friend, maybe up to 30. I definitely vibe more with introverted types. I’m really into people who actually have a sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously—though they can flip the switch and be serious when life gets heavy. I want someone empathetic and loyal. Honestly, even if you're going through a rough patch right now, as long as you haven't lost your spark or your optimism, we'll get along. Just looking for someone I can totally be myself around without feeling judged. Someone who's just over all the fake, superficial people in life...

Hit me up in the DMs for anything else 🙂

Hey there..
Looking for someone to hang out with this afternoon between 5 and 8 PM, or maybe sometime Tuesday. Just looking for a regular, sane, straight guy—no girlfriend, a bit of a loner just like me. My treat for a coffee at the cafe upstairs in the Avenue Mall. Just some good conversation if you're feeling social. A buddy of mine headed to the beach today, so I'm flying solo...
I'm 31. Somewhere around that age would be perfect. I'd say I'm pretty normal, I just don't happen to be super outgoing or a chatterbox, and I don't really have a massive squad or anything, which I guess is true for most smart people according to those studies, right?
Stuff we could chat about includes;
Xbox 360, electrical engineering, career shifts and retraining, maybe even Princess Diana if you've seen any documentaries lately—haha, I know that sounds wild, but I'd marry her in a heartbeat xD. Or maybe video editing software like Microsoft, old PC games, or PlayStation 2 classics. Music too, if our tastes align; I usually listen to DI FM radio... atmospheric breaks, big beat, psy chill, chillout, mostly just whatever unique stuff comes on. That's about it.
Was also thinking maybe go karting since I've never actually done it. Again, my treat, depending on if there's extra insurance stuff to pay for. I read a bit about it last year and backed off...
Hit me up ASAP if you're down for today. My email is acting up on my phone, so I'll leave my number in my profile for now—just shoot me a text. Getting ready to head out to Washington, D.C. now, gotta swing by the store first to help out some relatives.

Still searching for something a bit different 😉
Looking for a female sailing buddy based in the Miami area. Ideally, we start out with some shared outdoor activities and see where things go from there 😍
Recreation usually involves spending a few hours on the weekends near the coast or around the house, though when the weather stays warm through the afternoon after work, I'll head out for a swim 😍
Shoot me a DM for more details 😉

Still searching 😳
Google there must be someone interested 😍

Hey everyone!
I’m pretty new here—honestly, I’m still figuring out how everything works around this place—so I thought I’d just drop a quick note to introduce myself.
I’m looking specifically for some female friends. I lost touch with most of my girl friends a few years back when I moved to Washington, D.C.; I just didn't really find my footing here, and before you know it, you find yourself feeling a bit isolated.
Please, if you're the type of person who judges others for not having a huge social circle, skip this one. Moving to a new city is a big deal, and sometimes people just drift apart—it isn't that deep, there's no grand philosophy behind it.
A little about me: I'm married, 32, and actually expecting my first baby, so moms with kids are more than welcome to reach out too. I wasn't entirely sure if this was the right way to go about it, but since I’m fairly introverted and tend to keep to myself, I don't really meet many new people in my day-to-day life.
If anyone wants to chat, feel free to send me a private message.

I am a woman residing in the eastern part of New York City.
I am looking to connect with someone in their 30s who navigates the complexities of OCD or similar mental health challenges—someone who is single and seeking either friendship or a romantic connection.

I find myself drawn to calmer individuals; they don't necessarily need to be introverted, but I value those who possess a deep capacity for thought, analysis, and philosophical inquiry.
It would be ideal to meet someone who struggles with trusting others and perhaps feels misunderstood by the society around them.
I am searching for a bit of a lone wolf, someone who is still out there searching for their own pack...

Please refrain from reaching out if you do not truly resonate with this description, or if you haven't taken the time to look through my previous posts to see if our perspectives align.
I am already surrounded by an abundance of conventional, typical people, and frankly, they are not what I am looking for.

I’m looking to connect with a friend—man or woman, doesn't matter—who is 40+ for some decent company... you know, grabbing a coffee, taking a stroll through Washington, D.C., just general hanging out.
I don't usually post in this specific thread—I mostly just lurk and read occasionally—but I have to say, this group seems genuinely sincere and actually quite interesting.

Looking for a friend in Washington, D.C., maybe somewhere between 30 and 45, for some casual chatting, walks, grabbing coffee, hitting the movies... I guess the main thing is just finding someone who's actually good company.

Life’s been crazy lately—friends are getting hitched, some moved out of the States chasing better opportunities, others are just slammed with work... I'm looking for someone to chat with, grab a drink, go for bike rides, hit up road trips, etc. Down for making friends or maybe even something more if the vibe is right... you never know!
I'm a guy, 35, based in Chicago. Looking for a woman roughly 25-37. Honestly, doesn't matter where in the US you're from—I've got a car, so I'm happy to drive anywhere to meet up...
Just a heads up: I don't drink or smoke. I'm easy to talk to and I don't have any shady baggage (mentioning that now since I know it matters a lot on here)...

Hit me up for whatever else, my inbox is open...

later...

Hey there.
I'm a 24-year-old woman living in Washington, D.C., currently grinding through my final year of college. I’ve found myself stuck in this bizarre limbo—it’s one of those weird transitional phases where the loneliness just hits differently, and honestly, I’d love to meet some new people, though I haven't the slightest clue how or where to start. I struggle with social anxiety, and if we're being blunt, I am extremely introverted. Up until now, my entire social circle has been dictated by whoever happened to be in my classes, and frankly, every single one of those friendships has been fleeting.
What I'm really looking for is a true friend—someone I can talk to about absolutely anything, from the mundane to the most intimate, deeply personal topics—all without the fear of judgment or having to hold back. I want a connection that isn't temporary, or perhaps someone who, like me, is just plain exhausted by the constant cycle of passing acquaintances.
Having a diagnosis doesn't bother me at all.
Looking forward to meeting you 🙂

Hey everyone, I’m looking to connect with people living with BPD for some genuine friendship, socializing, and potentially even finding a romantic partner...
I'm 29, tall, and I take pretty good care of myself.
I've been consistently working through psychotherapy for several years now with really positive results, and I feel ready to branch out and meet new people.

If anyone feels they might relate and wants to reach out, please feel free to contact me.

Also, if you happen to know of any other groups or local meetups specifically for people with BPD, I'd love to hear about them...

Hi everyone! 🙂

I’m brand new here! I decided to join this forum because I really want to meet some new people and build genuine friendships. Lately, due to a series of random life events, my circle of friends has gotten a little smaller, which has left me feeling pretty lonely at times.

Here’s a little bit about me. I’m a 22-year-old woman currently studying in Washington, D.C. I’m hoping to connect with people between the ages of 18 and 26. I’d love to hear from girls, though guys are certainly welcome too (just a quick heads-up: I am in a relationship, so I'm looking for guys strictly as acquaintances or friends)!
I’m big into music—specifically metal and hard rock—as well as movies, series, and books. I also love hitting up the cinema, going to concerts, grabbing coffee, or just taking long walks. I definitely lean more toward being an introvert. I enjoy talking about practically anything, ranging from the mundane details of daily life to deep, meaningful topics. I’m a good listener and I genuinely love helping others. My goal is to find loyal, sincere friends (I strive to be that way myself)—someone I can talk to about everything, share the highs and lows with, have fun with, and just do all those things that real friends do. 🙂

If my post caught your eye and you’d like to get to know me better, please feel free to send me a DM! I would truly love to hear from you. 🙂

Looking to meet a girl who’s dealing with some kind of health issue. Just looking for someone smart, a bit unconventional, independent, and straight. Age range 19-31, ideally around the Zapa or Zga area.
Someone who isn't judgmental, doesn't complain constantly, and stays away from all that petty gossip.

I'm 31. Smart, definitely a little different, based in Zap.

Greetings...
Looking for someone for a virtual friendship only. We can talk about anything...
Keep it casual, no strings attached. Anything from small talk to the heavy stuff that keeps people up at night...
I used to look for a partner to help with mental reprogramming, so we could dive into that too—finding ways to trick the brain into certain behaviors to force self-improvement. Maybe I’m just dreaming, but anything is possible if someone reaches out...🍿

Living in Washington, D.C., 27 years old, and honestly just looking for a crew for beers, movies, hitting the town... I’ve drifted from my old group—you know how it is, you gotta grow and evolve or you just stagnate. Full disclosure, I deal with some social anxiety, if that matters to anyone, but don't worry—I'm not looking for a shoulder to cry on or a constant venting session about life's misery. I actually know how to listen when people talk, and I genuinely try to be a decent human being. If you vibe with any of this, hit me up in my inbox 🙂
