I’ve always been a huge fan of the Bad Boys franchise, so I was seriously hyped to finally catch this sequel.
It was a good watch, but honestly, it didn't quite hit the same high as the first two. Look, I get that they're both getting older, but I feel like they leaned way too hard into that "aging" joke in basically every single scene.

I was pretty bummed out about how the captain's story wrapped up.

Honestly, I liked this one better than the second one... It’s already packed with all those negative tropes you see in Bayev's style, though it’s still nothing compared to Transformers.

The movie’s actually pretty good... but man, that one part... it felt like Slya just ripped off his own Expendables vibe. All that hacking stuff and those modern tropes? I am definitely not feeling that part at all. But hey, the chemistry between those two is still insane—it's like Martin Lawrence got hit by a lightning bolt or something!🤣🤣🤣

Maybe he’ll actually get his act together by the time Bad Boys 4 in Pre-Production happens, haha

Honestly, this was surprisingly good. Even if it's my favorite part of the trilogy—not that I have particularly high standards for Bad Boys.
It feels like they finally took a different, higher-quality direction, and they actually used the R-rating for something meaningful this time.
Thankfully, it’s not drowning in jokes like the older ones were, and the humor they did include felt pretty well-balanced.
I’m not exactly itching for more sequels, though; to me, this feels like the perfect way to wrap things up.
The only thing I really missed from the previous movies was that classic "Now that's how you ...!!!" line. 😁

There’s just no way this can touch the first one, or even the second... I mean, it’s a decent enough flick, but that’s about it.
It just doesn't hold a candle to the absolute peak era of buddy cop action movies.☕

That is exactly my point, it is just your run-of-the-mill action movie with zero sense of humor, and it stays nowhere near the level of those original entries.

Honestly, this is hands down one of the best action flicks we've seen in years. I mean, seriously, I don't have a single complaint—it’s just a damn good, top-tier action movie. 👍

Will Smith was absolutely killing it, and honestly, the main villain was great too. Plus, the action sequences? Pure gold. The movie really hits every single beat you want from a high-octane action flick.

If I had to nitpick even a little bit, maybe the soundtrack? It’s awesome and super intense, but just like how people said about Spectre, it feels like they ripped off some of the music from TDK.
Also, the main bad guy totally mimics the Joker with his look and those specific gestures when he drops the line, "Now you work for me."
I usually can't stand it when movies copy stuff, but I'll make a tiny exception here because it actually fits the vibe of the movie perfectly.

Anyway, I saw the first one ages ago—back when it first hit theaters, I think? My memory is pretty foggy on the details, and I’m pretty sure I never even watched the second one, so I can't really compare them.

The camerawork isn't quite as manic as it was in the second one, but honestly, I didn't notice much of a difference in the overall quality of the movie.

Weakest one yet.
Lawrence looks completely wrecked; it’s not just the weight, his eyes look jaundiced. He’s just fidgeting constantly. Everyone is overacting—that captain was screaming through the whole thing. Guess that’s his "thing," so he figured since he's filming a 4th one anyway, he might as well kick the bucket early.
The kid takes out cops and federal prosecutors while Dad handles some shady deal to set up part 4.🤦
The timeline is a mess. They claim they were together at the academy, but then Smith explains how they kicked him out for a secret assignment, which the other guy knows nothing about. Plus, by the time the kid is born, they’ve supposedly been partners and detectives for years. They could've at least tried to make the story make sense.
