Oh, absolutely. And not just ExxonMobil, but a whole bunch of other American companies too—all of them staying far away from that market because they were pressured by the folks in power.

Where? This thread or others? 🙂 I've been hanging around the Iran and Russia threads for years. Honestly, I probably dumped a few thousand posts just on the Iran topics alone. 😁

I mostly hang out in the threads about Russia and Syria, though I’ll jump over to Ukraine every now and then too. I keep an eye on Iran as well, just not nearly as much... mostly from a military perspective.
