What’s your take on someone who spends all their time trashing an ex? You’re talking to them and they go on and on about how they won't even take her calls. They claim she’s just making up excuses to get to them, acting like they're too smart to fall for her nonsense. They basically drag her through the mud. But then, out of nowhere, you find out he’s actually reaching out to her, saying he wants to talk and trying to reconnect. What does that say about him? If someone talks that much trash and then immediately goes running back, would you call them two-faced? Would you ever trust them again? It’s a massive red flag.🤣It looks incredibly foolish.

I haven't read a thread this brainless on this forum in a long time. ☕

It’s pretty obvious this guy hasn't made peace with his feelings or his head space regarding his ex.
There’s a razor-thin line between love and hatred, and honestly, when someone spends all their energy trashing an ex, it’s proof enough. Look, let’s be real—it isn't "right," but people do it constantly. It happens more often than not if the breakup wasn't some graceful, mutual decision or if one person got absolutely blindsided and hurt.

When someone truly doesn't feel the need to bring up their ex at all—when they just reach a point of total indifference where they genuinely don't care anymore—that’s when that person is actually an ex. But when you see someone badmouthing a person they were head-over-heels for just yesterday? It’s clear as day. They haven't moved on, and that person still carries massive weight in their life.

In this specific case, the situation clearly stings. Maybe he's putting on this big, important act for everyone else, trying to convince himself that he’s over her and has moved on, but... well, look at him. These outbursts and these constant digs at his ex prove the exact opposite!
He clearly has no clue how to move forward or pull himself together. I mean, didn't you mention he’s still trying to stay in contact with her?

Maybe he’s operating under the delusion that people actually evolve, so he clings to that absolute disaster of a human being out of some misplaced sense of loyalty to nothing.🤷
Perhaps he’s following that logic where if you associate with trash, you have to become trash yourself just to fit in—which would make him a total hypocrite if he stayed.
Or maybe he’s just waiting until his circle is entirely composed of losers before he finally pulls the plug.
🤷

If this guy is someone you were actually considering dating, run—just walk away. He clearly hasn't processed his past and is using some pretty pathetic defense mechanisms to cope.
If he was truly over her, he wouldn't even be thinking about her—let alone "ruminating" on what she’s thinking or feeling. She’d just be a footnote in his history, nothing more.
To me, it looks like pure projection. It sounds like he's playing these weird little games—probably thinks he's being profound or important deep down, but from the outside? He just looks pathetic, using you as an audience so he can vent about some woman he claims to despise.

This probably fits better over in the Bean Reading or the Fortune Teller subforums.
I’d really suggest giving the Psychology rules PDF a quick read first. 🙂
