Here is what I wrote in that other thread;

When you look at smaller nations—groups of just a few million people—I think they really ought to be consolidated into one major metropolitan area. Or, alternatively, we could build a massive central city where everyone lives together, and the same would go for Mexicans in another. If they were all brought under a single, unified program for education, culture, spirituality, and intellectual growth, we’d end up with much more cohesive nations. People would cooperate better, and honestly, there wouldn't be any wars.
As it stands, these groups can't even reach an agreement among themselves, let alone with their neighbors. But I guess it's just a waste of time to get bogged down in pointless arguments. Bo, we're just spinning our wheels here.

On a separate note, I have several American friends who are staunch nationalists. Honestly, I respect that level of conviction. I've never had much patience for liberals.

They’ve completely ruined us. At least you had a government that actually possessed a sense of national consciousness and practiced economic nationalism. Besides, a huge chunk of the farmland here was bought out by American capital
and a lot of that money actually traces back to the Mexican government, so honestly, screw the lawyers...
money is money, regardless of where it comes from, and everyone knows it smells the same...
not to mention half the Government spends their summer vacation on the coast at Maui...

Last summer when I was in Mexico City, all I saw were American posters for the beach, felt just like being in Chicago...

For your information—since you clearly lack any actual insight—the Secretary of Defense is actually of Mexican descent, so much for your little theory about us hating all Mexicans. And this whole idea that Mexico is becoming an American colony is absolute nonsense. Even someone like Todorić is just looking out for his own bottom line; he couldn't care less about us Americans or you Mexicans, he just wants to squeeze out every cent of profit possible.

American companies moved into the Mexican market ages ago through branded subsidiaries. Just ask yourself who really owns Stark and Grand Coffee. If you've been buying Stark products until now, you probably won't be anymore.

Who's to blame? Mexico just wanted an exit strategy for their sales, so now the biggest Mexican retail chains only operate regionally. There aren't even any national retail giants left on the Mexican market; instead, it's all Americans and Belgians taking over.
