Hey there. Quick question for you guys... I was messing around on the county assessor's site, plugged in my parcel number and everything, and it shows me my total acreage. BUT, I swear until recently I could actually pull measurements—like checking the length of my backyard or running a diagonal—but now it just spits out square footage and nothing else. It’s useless to me. Is there some way to get these property dimensions for free, or did they start charging us for basic info now?

You couldn't actually measure the surface area through the county assessor's office; you were just measuring it using the online GIS portal.

Just go to WolframAlpha. They've got every single unit of measurement you can imagine, even the weird ones...
