FIFA U-20 World Cup Final: Ukraine vs. South Korea

After blowing it by losing the rights to the national team games and UEFA Euro 2020, the public broadcaster is still trying to make up for it with some pretty unusual coverage—like the FIFA U-20 World Cup Final between Ukraine and South Korea.

The game is on HRT 2 right now. We're about 20 minutes in, and they're playing out of Lodz, Poland. South Korea is currently holding a 1-0 lead.

The stadium is absolutely packed.

Ukraine just leveled the score, they're actually playing some great football right now.

The guy in charge needs to back off the pedal a bit. I guess Korea played a part in that too. It honestly surprised me seeing Suprjaha out there instead of Sikan, but hey, he managed to find his way through the chaos and score.

Steve Ballmer is back at it again with his usual nonsense. He’s acting like South America is some kind of untouchable football powerhouse, when we all know better. Then he goes on about how the last FIFA U-20 World Cup was held in South Korea. Honestly, I think I’ve heard him claim ten different times that the USSR won the very first tournament, and then he spends just as much time rambling on about the cities where it was played

Man, I guess Ukraine isn't quite dead yet, especially since their anthem says so. They managed to flip the script and turn the game around. I suppose they pulled off a solid comeback.
