I've suggested this movie as an alternative to ZeroHedge a few times now:

Might be a bit off-topic, but 😁

"Jerry Fletcher (Gibson), a conspiracy-obsessed New York City cab driver, sees evidence of sinister plots in even the most ordinary places" 🙂

I watched that movie! 😁
You're totally right, it's a legit alternative 😍

I'll go look at the movie. Super curious to see what it's all about! 🙂

Regarding that other guy—I don't get what's so exciting about him just posting a gold price and saying "long" when his whole trade lasts like two or three hours. 🙂

Haha, for sure... consider it supplemental therapy. Just means you don't have to read ZH for a few days.

As far as I'm concerned, this is one of the few sites left where you actually get the real story on what's happening in this economic dumpster fire.
All those "conspiracy theories" eventually turn out to be nothing more than plain facts, at which point everyone just stops talking about them and treats them like common knowledge.
Keep it up 🙂

Man, I know a killer site. You're clearly soaking all this stuff up!

http://www.new-world-order.com/

I check them out every now and then. They're pretty hilarious. 😍 Or, to put it in your terms: you get the real scoop on how things actually work.

Check this one out for example:

Once again, you aren't actually backing up your claim that ZH is just a hub for conspiracy theories.
So, why don't you point out specific articles on ZH that qualify as conspiracies? If you can actually make an argument, that is. Sure, they’ve missed the mark on their timing and forecasts more times than I can count, but that doesn't change the facts.
It's a bit different from your approach, where you shut down any real debate before it even starts and then try to troll by bringing up some random website that has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Why even call for the mods? Honestly, I don't think your posts even belong in this thread!

Not sure why it's getting under your skin so much.
The guy's an emotional trader... and there's nothing wrong with sharing a little feeling when the life of a trader or investor is already lonely enough. 😍

Don't be such a robot. 😉

You're joking, right? Like Charles is some kind of emotionless machine? It’s actually useful to have things written down here so you can track your own headspace—it’s basically a journal... and it might even help someone else out.

An Ego Trip is one thing, but being an emotional trader is a whole different animal.

It depends on how you look at it. But if you actually think about it, you'll realize your ego is usually the root cause of all those emotional outbursts anyway. It doesn't just cause them—it's almost always the reason.
You can see it clearly in the trades themselves, and even in the way people talk about their trades. Point being, it's all connected.

Either way, it’s entertaining to watch and definitely makes this little community of ours more interesting.😍

Don't let anyone get in your way, Charles

I'm actually curious, what kind of mobile apps are you running on your phone?

The guy is just being ridiculous. Honestly, I’m just going to ignore him and let him shout his numbers into the void until he runs out of breath. 😁

I find his entries quite interesting. He is transparent about his trades and his level of success. Perhaps you could share some of your own expertise with us as well?

Let me just "cook up" some extra context here—here’s my breakdown:

Physical gold ~ $1,500 (early 2011) 😍
GDX at $50.33 (around the QE3 announcement) 👎
NEM at $56.5 (around the QE3 announcement) 👎

Still haven't found an exit strategy yet 😬

P.S. Luckily, GDX and NEM aren't making up a huge chunk of my portfolio...

I haven't seen you take a single short position yet, only closing out after prices drop.
If we’re actually in a bear market—which seems to be your logic—it stands to reason that shorting would be the easier path for a trader.
So go ahead, pull the trigger on a short. Then maybe I'll believe you actually think we're in a bear market.😉

I don't think we're in a bear market. I'm just saying—bear market rallies are killer opportunities for longs, and those massive bounces always look incredibly convincing. Honestly, even those rallies are easier money than trying to short. Real money is made on the long side.
