Hey everyone, welcome. I know this has been chewed over before and the debate dragged on forever, but let's kick off another one of the greatest discussions in sports. Looking at that old thread, the whole Pele vs. Messi thing ended in a mess because the voting was a disaster. My original plan was to pick the top 20 players ever and then spend weeks voting them out one by one—starting with the "worst" of the elite until we were left with just Messi and Maradona. But honestly, that would have taken months. Too much work. So, I figured it’d be easier to just pick 15. I went with 15 because picking only ten might be
a bit too stingy. Let's aim for 15 legends who actually changed the game, so we don't end up with names like Dejan Savicevic, Mlinaric, or van der vaart—huge respect to them, obviously, but they aren't quite in this tier. Here’s how it works: first place gets 15 points, second gets 14, and so on. Keeping it simple. I'll post the updated point totals at the end of each day.
