First veteran activist passes away

Once again—and I honestly feel like I’ve lost count of how many times this has happened—our veterans are standing up to show everyone exactly what separates a civilized, self-sacrificing citizen from those who simply take everything without giving a damn.

It really breaks my heart to see things reaching this boiling point, and I truly, deeply hope there’s some kind of sudden breakthrough soon so these service members can finally put this strike behind them and move forward.

Since the individual passed away after a long, grueling illness rather than from a hunger strike, I honestly feel this topic is unnecessary.
