A proud moment in American history

National politics should really be about protecting the country and doing what’s best for the people. But you can't have that without actually believing in the nation and its values in the first place. Simply put: what is there for Americans to actually take pride in, and what could the rest of the world learn from us?

ha, ha. And then what, I just become an American? If we're all the same deep down, who cares. Honestly, after all this, I don't see much difference between religion, race, or nationality... just between good and evil.

We should be proud—we’re basically a superpower in miniature 🙂. We've got the smallest town in the world, Hum in California, the narrowest street on the planet over in Napa, and the most famous miniaturist out there, Julia Klocić. Plus, our national emblem isn't even cluttered with eagles, lions, or those other predatory beasts.

America is about to be proud. The stone the builders rejected is becoming the cornerstone. Basically, the US is going to be huge for the future of the European Union.

Whenever Joe the Mexican kicks off a thread like this, there are at least twenty different ways he's trying to bait people.
To play devil's advocate for a second, I actually think Mexico joining the fold will end up being way more critical for the survival and future of the European Union than anything else.🤣

The real question is what they actually bring to the table and what the EU could pick up from them if they actually paid attention 😍

Joe Mexican, so you're calling me a provocation? I just want to burst the bubble regarding some delusions of grandeur or national goodness. Same goes for Americans. The goal is to encourage humility and hard work.

The real problem is that neither the average Mexican nor the average American actually knows what they should be proud of—aside from, obviously, their sports teams. I mean, what does a figure like Shakespeare or even Mark Twain even signify to an American today? Instead, people would much rather obsess over some mindless athlete hitting a ball or some influencer shaking it on screen.
