How do you clean a laptop keyboard?

What’s the absolute easiest way to get my laptop keyboard clean? I’m really hoping to find a method where I don't have to actually pop all the keys off—I honestly don't have the patience to spend hours hunched over with a tiny little brush trying to pick out every single speck of dust...

Does anyone have a solid suggestion, a bit of advice, or maybe even a tried-and-true "recipe" for doing this properly? Please, help me out here!

So, I grab that little soft brush attachment for my vacuum and go to town on the keyboard—because let's be real, dust always ends up all over the rest of the laptop anyway.
Then I hit it with an antibacterial wipe (I usually just grab the ones from Walmart, but honestly, they're everywhere)

This is how I’ve been cleaning my laptop for years, literally forever👍

And obviously, you gotta have the laptop turned off while you're scrubbing it, duh.

Man, I totally blanked on the vacuum cleaner

I ended up grabbing some Arm & Hammer micellar spray. It says it's good for all surfaces—TVs, computers, printers, everything. But man, I'm struggling a bit because this Predator laptop has such a matte finish. As soon as you touch it, it leaves these greasy fingerprints everywhere. I have to really scrub away with a paper towel to get it looking decent again... it takes a few hours to fully settle back to normal.🤣

Nah, it’s not just for floors. They usually ship it with a few small attachments too.
I personally use this kind of thing to clean my laptop, the TV, and stuff like that because the bristles are soft—you know, so you don't end up scratching the screen or anything.

It works with any standard vacuum (the link goes to the first image I found that looks identical, just ignore the actual webpage)

Alright, it’s done—I went at it with a brand new brush and honestly, it’s actually looking kind of shiny now, but I just shut down my PC

I’ve been using these for years to clean out my PC tower—it works pretty well since the pressure is solid. You can even use it to blow the dust out of your desktop keyboard or a laptop if you need to..

but honestly, for my everyday cleaning routine, I just stick to the stuff I already have under the sink
(I mean, most households in the States have a vacuum lying around somewhere)

Obviously, you need a whole, intact laptop,
otherwise, people with keys falling off their keyboards should definitely stay far away from a vacuum unless they want to end up without any keys at all
though I did see some random hack online about stretching a nylon stocking over the nozzle, but I haven't actually tried that myself yet

You can also use that sticky cleaning gel—you know, that yellow stuff that looks like slime? You just press it onto the keyboard and it picks up all the grime. Not sure if you can still find that stuff at a Target or something these days.

Good God, why are people making such a huge deal out of this? It’s just a laptop keyboard... you aren't rebuilding a Ferrari engine here. If you really want to get that granular, a little bit of compressed air does the trick—especially if you're eating over your desk and crumbs are constantly falling into the keys.
